I hate the last four episodes of season seven. Too rushed and uneven. I agree completely. Especially since some characterization was extremely off.

I never understood why people thought the characterization of season seven was off? Maybe that's a question for another thread, but I thought they were all acting the way their character would in that situation.

Yeah, I agree. I think part of it is that the characters grew up - so naturally, they will be different than they were seven years ago.

I don't think their characters were completely off, maybe a bit but not so much that made me think it was terribly out of character. Only Giles was out of character to me, the rest was ok in my opinion.

Giles was off for me, and so was Willow siding with Kennedy when they kicked Buffy out. Xander I could maybe understand a little because of his eye, but they would normally trust Buffy and that episode bugs me.

I don;t particularly care for Inca Mummy Girl, Reptile Boy, Phases, Go Fish, Choices, the Initiative, Pangs, Doomed, A New Man, The I in Team, goodbye Iowa, Where the Wild Things Are, Checkpoint, All the Way, Hell's Bells, Entropy, Conversations With Dead People, Sleeper, never Leave Me, Bring on the Night, The Killer in Me, First Date, and Get it Done. I would elaborate on why I don't really like these episodes, but it would take a lot of time and I just don't dfeel like it, but if you want me to, I could.

That's quite a list. But Pangs? A New Man? CwDP? Those are some pretty loved episodes, I think.

Yeah, I wouldn't be saying I hate any of those three at all. Each to their own, I guess.

I don't really dislike any episode, though there are some I wouldn't watch too many times. Basically, it depends on my mood. Right now, I'd say that maybe the only episode I dislike is "Where the Wild Things Are". Even if I'm Ruffy. Or maybe exactly because I'm Ruffy! I found it to be kind of gross.

Conversations With Dead People Not a popular choice! May I ask why you don't like it?

I don't like CWDP either as many of you already know Its totally overrated imo. The Holden/Buffy scenes are the only saving grace for that ep imo the rest of it bores me.

Inca Mummy Girl is far from a favourite, but upon rewatching it fairly recently, it turned out that I didn't dislike it as much as I thought I did.

Nah I still dislike it. The whole episode is very meh. But I don't like many Xanderish eps which is odd cause I adore Xander. The Zeppo for example I throughly dislike and think is way overrated.

I think a lot of the reason that the Xander episodes don't tend to live up to the majority of them is that they had a habit of playing Xander up as stupid in them. They focused on the lighter aspects of Xander, rather than providing any proper drama or characterisation for him.
