So, a few of us were excited when we saw Fray on an upcoming Buffy cover, and now Comic Book Resources has an interview with the assistant editor about it. Click here if you feel like reading it.

Well I hope they didn't reveal too much there. This has got me a little more psyched though (and I already was pretty psyched). This is gonna be a good one!

I don't think they revealed too much - just enough to tease Fray fans. It should definitely be an interesting arc.

Well it will be next issue. That's issue 16 for anybody who's counting.

I'm interested to know how Fray got into the picture. I mean, Fray is a slayer from the future right? Is it the not so distant future or did she time travel?

It's the very distant future, Irene (read Fray if you get the chance - it's well worth it). My guess is it has something to do with Buffy's scythe, since it originally appeared in Fray. And given that the last arc had a lot to do with it, it seems like the likely explanation, IMO.

I kinda figured it has something to do with the scythe. I haven't been reading season 8 but I'll probably lurk around these boards to keep myself updated.

When does issue 16 come out? Or is it out already?

Has anyone read issue #16 yet? It's most probably out in most places. What did you think of it? I haven't read it yet. I'm still waiting for the transcript to be up.

I've read #16 and #17 and I really like them so far. I loved Fray's series, and I'm really glad she's back. It's really interesting so far. #17 was kind of predictable, but it was still awesome. Now I feel like I have to go back and read Fray again because I have forgotten almost everything about it.

I didn't know part 2 is out already. I have to re-read part 1 as I probably forgot everything that has happened before reading part 2.

Part two's been out for a couple of weeks now, I think Irene. I read Fray about a year ago, and the issues are refreshing my memory as they move along. #17 was a little predictable, and it wasn't helped by me dropping the comic and seeing the last page before I began to read it anyway. But it was still very enjoyable. I'd love to see more Fray without Buffy crossing over into it, though.

I haven't really been keeping track of when the issues come out. And as it comes out every month, I tend to forget that an issue is coming out.

All of you Battlestar Galactica fans will love a certain four letter "F" word said in the newest Buffy comic.

I'm not a fan, so I'm probably missing something, Bre. Could you explain it in spoiler tags please?

I caught the word and knew it was a reference to something, but didn't know what. I've not seen Battlestar Galactica, but I'm tempted to see it now because I rather like that word. lol
I'm extremely interested to see how they finish this arc. I think the combination of Buffy and Fray has been great and the things that the characters (and therefore us readers) are exposed to are really great and interesting. It just seems like there's so much that got brought into this arc that I expect they'll actually need several issues post-Fray to have the characters fully reap the repercussions. (And sorry in advance if that didn't make sense. I'm rather tired after a long day and my fingers seem to be getting ahead of my brain.)

It does definitely seem like they'll be dealing with the repercussions later. Though that is something that Joss does well. That was a Battlestar reference was it? I'd heard it before (pre-Battlestar), but I didn't know that they were using it (and me hearing it isn't me thinking it's not a BSG reference - I'm guessing they adopted it).

Wikipedia says it was used in the original series so maybe that's why you've heard it before the current series? I don't know. I don't watch the show that often, so I couldn't tell ya.
