Never heard of it. Or maybe I have. The title sounds familiar. What is it about?

I read Safe Haven by Nicholas Sparks while I was away. It's pretty terrible.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak.
This is my second reading, but the writing is so original, so poetic, so refreshing, it feels like I'm reading it for the first time. This book will probably make me cry again, just like it did when I read it last year.

I've also read I Am The Messenger. While it wasn't as good as The Book Thief, I still loved it. Especially the ending; it was absolutely genius.
Zusak is one of those rare, innovative writers whose unique and compelling writing style and creativity in story line and idea makes him an artist in my opinion.

I'm keen on getting I Am The Messenger but I haven't seen it in bookstores, which annoys me. Might get it online.

The ending is at first confusing, but once you realize what Markus Zusak did, your mind will be blown. Even more than Inception.

'The Host' By Stephanie Meyer. Better than Twilight but crapper than any other book . 'On the Jellicoe Road' the ebook was only 99c so I couldn't resist that. It was pretty good, written by an Aussie so I learned words like 'Pash' !

I actually really liked The Host! What part about it did you dislike?

I think it just moved to slowly for me but I am not a fan of her writing style although her popularity says I may be of the minority. I did like base storyline though, it spoke more to me than her others books because I quite enjoy SciFi.
Has anyone read clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare? I have that, Across the Universe by Beth Revis, Enclave by Ann Aguirre and The Forest of hands & teeth by Carrie Ryan. I have a couple more on my list but I am trying to decide what to read first, I am thinking The forest of hands & teeth because the name intrigues me.

I read half of The Host and I didn't have time to finish it. Will get back to it soon. I did enjoy what I've read so far. It was slow at the beginning though.
Nico, I've read both Clockwork Angel and Across the Universe. Across the Universe was waaaaaay better than CA.

Ugh, I just bought the Clockwork angel ebook for 9.99! The others are loans from the library, damn You enjoyed her Mortal Instruments books though right? I might give those another go, I heard that the part that was creepy flips back to how it was before it got creepy, is that correct? Our main romantic pairing being brother & sister I still don't like that she used that at all it made it really tough for me to get into the book and see this 'new' relationship develop. Have you read Forest of hands & teeth Irene? I am only a few chapters in but the action started from the beginning. There hasn't been alot of dialogue between characters yet I am hoping that changes because right now it reads like a diary!

The others are loans from the library, damn You might enjoy this a lot more than you would with the Mortal Instruments series as there isn't any incestuous relationship among the characters - it's the way it's suppose to be. Yup. You'll have to endure the creepiness till the third book (I think. Or is it the second. Can't remember). Maybe with that knowledge, it wouldn't be so creepy for you. But with that aside, the story is actually pretty good. No, I haven't! Sounds interesting though. What is it about? Is it a dystopia book?

I finished 'Across the universe' Last night. You ladies were right it was really good, I enjoyed it alot. Ofcourse I love my Scifi. I am currently reading Daughter of smoke and bones. Irene, Forest of Hands & teeth was quite gruesome, it was an okay read but not one I would recommend to many people .

Matched by Ally Condie. Currently on a dystopia kick. ;D I finished 'Across the universe' Last night. You ladies were right it was really good, I enjoyed it alot. Ofcourse I love my Scifi. The second book is out in S'pore which took me by surprise. I thought it was out later in the month - or maybe it's just for NZ. Anyway, I didn't get it as it was hard cover and it doesn't match with the first book.
