Yeah those pictures hurt my brain I have a lot of books and they are all organised into categories and alphabetically. I can't stand it if one book isn't put away properly, I'd kill anyone that left my bookshelves in a state like that

Same here, Beck. I don't think I'll own a kindle as I love books too much. Liz, how many books do you have on it? I just deleted a bunch (have them all on my laptop anyway), but 30-40?

We are getting a couple of new bookcases and finally moving our (well mostly my) books out of the storage room. It took quite awhile today to pull them all out and stack them up ready to go when the bookcases arrive. I am doing it now because I want the space in the storage room to put other stuff now that we have lost a guest room. I know some of you like organization and I swear they will be once they are in the new bookcases! There are about 12 books not in this group cause they are waiting to be read. Roof for reference of how high The purple bag is full of my Buffy books that I am trying to get rid of.

They are all away now. Bernie brought home 20 new/old books from his friend last night AFTER I had put all the books away, grr had to redo some of it. Way too many books. Need to get around to reading the ones I have been meaning to since I discovered quite a few more I want to read (ones that were Bernie's that I never read).

You have some pretty nice books in your collection. Seeing some of them brings back nostalgic feelings from when I used to read fiction. Killing Floor for instance was the first Lee Child book which I read. Also quite enjoyed LOTR and The Power of One. Unfortunately I am not able to provide any photos of my books at the moment. Currently lack the required space to have them nicely organized. This will be fixed at some point early next year. Then you can use my photos of my lovely books to...well most likely put you to sleep.

You have good eye sight, I can barely make out what most of those books are I hear you on space, they are all away neatly now, but I am rapidly running out of space again even after moving all of Sean's books into his bedroom. Ella-Rose also has a lot in her room, we are going to end up with the rumpus room a library at this rate

Thank you, although I used the initial photos you posted as they provided a much clearer image. My space issues will be resolved next year as I will be gaining an additional room which will be dedicated to my book! Winsies! The library dream is certainly a noble one!
