Any Karma given or taken MUST be either put in this thread when you do it, or PMed to either me or the person smited/exalted.
Three times in the last 3 weeks this hasn't been done, and each time I have had to chase it up. I'm not going to name names and I don't want to hear "who was it?" or "it wasn't me" because the security log already shows it, and its been by three different people. I don't want this discussed any further, except privately with me, but I want it known that its not on and will result in smitings from ME if it happens again. The person smited/exalted has the right to know why if they want to, and if not I need to know anyway to make sure its legit. The first two smites were given back, this one I am waiting to see if there was a reason before doing that.
I DO understand if you don't want it public, but if someone has offended you let them know via PM. The reason I need to know is so that I know its fair. This has happened on and off over the two years we have had karma but its never happened so much over such a short time before. And really, you all know better.
Again - I don't want this addressed here. Those who have been involved will know who they are and most have been worked out already. But this is a warning now that without reason I will start handing out smites myself, or warnings if its more than one time. Same goes for exalting without reason though that doesn't appear to be a problem anymore.

I'm not sure whether to allow that because that post was so long ago and you had posted in that thread after it Was there a reason for doing it now?

Sorry Dana hun but I'm going to have to agree I don't want other members going back and giving karma for old posts, I'd say two or three week old posts max are ok to Karma and thats in case someone has been away or forgot to Karma at the time, or missed a post etc. Unless you missed the post at the time and only used it now, in which case I'll let it stand this time, but not for any future times.

Sorry 'bout the lateness but I needed to get hold of the font again (not at home) and the only way I knew how was via her post, and that's why I gave her karma for it this time around, because it helped me not only once but twice. I didn't know there was a rule against giving karma a while later and I appologize for that. Didn't mean any harm, just wanted to thank for the extra help she provided.

There isn't a rule, but it wouldn't be good to have members going through and exalting or smiting old posts. If it helped you now thats fine, and Beck said she'd let it stand, thats why I asked if there was a reason for doing it now

I've exalted Marie for her help with the latest episode of Dominion. Considering how busy she's been with her own life, I really appreciate her still going to the trouble of helping me with it.

I gave Karma to Allan for making me laugh by seriously misquoting my post and moving the words around, even funnier because He didn't mean it (Or i'm guessing he didn't) , and I had to recheck my post !, anyway , it made me laugh and thats all I care about
