Yup I love it too. It was so darn scary! I have fallen in love with Dean instantly. Took all of 5 minutes  Sam I like, but I think Dean is my favourite so far. Was not expecting the ending. Was a shocker! |

Definitely glad i didn't read the transcript- i did not see the end coming at all! Ackles has always been a hottie (especially in Dark Angel) but he really does look damn good these days doesn't he  |

Ooh I love Supernatural! Very good show. Some of the episodes are like mini horror movies. And I also love love love Dean! Sam's cute, too, but Dean is my favorite.

Nah didn't like it... then again nothing in the no-ratings period for that matter
But i have to admit with all of the shows this one is the best out of the lot of ghost and alien shows
Now on to the actual show... the begining wasn't needed... it ended with a big...
*Now that's the plot!... you got it!?*
They should have just started straight into the show... would have made the mystery behind everything a little bit better with the less we know
The acting is good for a change... so that could be potential there... the plots aren't all the best... nothing new just different perspectives of the stories which i'am now guessing will happen in every episode
But having a main plot supporting the little ones as we know can drive a series to the end... as seen in desperate housewives and Lost
And when you get down to it the two names are big in the industry am i correct?... al li know dean from is smallville and dark angel but the other guy... just gilmore girls which i have never seen, house of wax which i will never see... and flight of the pheonix which i have to say... wasn't good in that at all
So having two big names could boost the series to a possible season 2... but i doubt any more... but to be ont he safe side on that guess i'll say the limit of 3... cause once they find out everything that's it for the story... it could take a downfall from there

A second series is already confirmed because both critics and viewers love it. Having two names is irrelevant if the show is crap imo.
The beginning WAS necessary to show what happened to the mother and why they got into chasing the supernatural. It gave nothing away except to show that we will be finding out what happened to the mother over the series. All shows have a big plot behind the sub plots and individual episodes, it makes it more interesting.
How can you say the plots aren't the best from one episode? I personally thought the plot was brilliant. And the acting is superb.

i just saw the first episode and thought it was good
and it has the potential to get better
i thought at the end when he was going into his house he would find his girlfriend cheating but not that
this monster must be linked to him somehow
also if i am to be killed by a ghost please god let it be a white woman, she was gorgeous, i loved the fact they did a POV shot of him looking at her breasts, i was in hysterics

I am completely in love with Dean  They're showing the first and second episodes again on friday night. I'm going to refrain from spoiling you about the second episode, I'll discuss it when you guys in the UK have seen it. |

I watched the first episode from tonight, because my brother really likes the show. Eh, I say. It was okay. Entertaining. The acting seemed a bit shoddy (not from the boys, the other girls), but I quite liked it. Silly, but pretty good. Didn't watch the second episode. Brother recapped for me, sounded...okay.
