Woot! Finally caught the finale last night! Absolutely loved this episode. It was a great and fitting finale for the season and for the high school years. Keith comes back! Oh how I miss him. I really like how Dan finally owns up to the murder and finally faces the guilt. I love the scene when Karen comes to visit him. So powerful. One thing that bugged me was Brook and Chase. Don't you think they were moving too fast? They just got back together and a couple of eps later, they are saying "I love you" and then having sex. I just feel that the writers wanted Brook to move on from Lucas a little bit too quickly. Everything else was great - most of the storyline was wrapped up nicely - and, like you said, I like how the ep was nicely balanced with Dan's guilt and everyone's happiness. Btw, I love the starting of the ep. Overall, I thought it was a great ep. I felt that this season was probably the poorest among all so it's nice that it ended on a great note. I heard season 5 returns in Jan next year. Is that true? What a long wait! Grrr! Master Beck makes me wait for my dinner. Sometimes it never comes.

Hee, I loved it. I really, really, really did. First, before I get into the actual episode...the songs. The opening song, AND... Spice Girls! In the middle...Wannabe! So awesome. I loved the dream/heaven sequence. Keith! And their daughter! So beautiful, and the scene had so much symbolism in it...But I'm not gonna go into it 'cause a) That'd be pretty boring and b) I'm sure you caught on. The Dan scenes were incredibly powerful, as said. Rachel hosting the party and Brooke giving her her diploma was very touching. I'm glad she got to know that she actually graduated. So, yeah. The ep was , and I can't wait to see what happens in the span of five years when we start season 5.

I never did like her character. So what did you guys think about season 4 in general?

I think Season 4 was my second favorite season, behind season two, but it's hard to say.? I liked it a lot, it was slow in some places, and had some episodes I wasn't a big fan of, but it was extremely climatic at many different points of the season, and I think it was very good.

Season 4 wasn't one of the best, in my opinion. I thought season 3 was definitely better. I agree with you when you said that the season were slow in some places. And I think that made the season weak in certain areas. The writers didn't add in much new storyline in this season and so I felt that the season was very draggy in certain places.
I really enjoyed the Psycho!Derek storyline and the last few episodes leading up to the finale. The rest were kinda...meh.

Anyone here heard the latest soundtrack from OTH? I have and I think it's pretty cool. Though I still think Friends With Benefits is the best out of the three. My favourite songs from the third soundtrack are The Kooks "Naive", Gym Class Heroes "Good Vibrations" and the beautiful "Heartbeats" by Jose Gonzalez.

No, I haven't heard any of the soundtracks but I think One Tree Hill is the show with the best taste in music

Season 5 have started in the States. Has anyone caught it yet? What is your opinion on the new season so far? Did the whole fast forward to 4 years into the future work for you? I haven't had the time to catch it yet. I'll probably wait till it airs on TV here. Unless those who watched it gives outstanding reviews.

Yeah, i've seen the first 3 episodes. I think the season is pretty good so far though the latest episode was kind of slow, and yeah I liked the flash forward!

Yeah I caught the first episode. I like the flash forward idea, too. I hate Nathan's character, though. He's too depressed and angry and it's annoying.

My season 4 DVD's only just arrived this week (they only ever showed about a season here on TV ). I think the flash forward for Season 5 is a good move, many shows have suffered post high school. I heard Nathan's character is depressing as Hope it doesn't stay that way.

Btw, I love the starting of the ep. The start of the episode was brilliant. They used my song! I literally screamed when i heard the first chords of Lightning Crashes Great choice. Perfect for what was going on on screen. And the ep as a whole was great i have to say. Really enjoyed it.

I've seen all the episodes so far and I love the exchange in the most recent episode, where- Mia was playing a tune and Tim started singing, then Peyton was making Lindsey mad so Lindsey told Mia to play it again. She did, and Lindsey sang... "My name is Peyton, Fake Peyton. I don't have a boyfriend, Because I'm a bitch." I thought it was hilarious. I despise Peyton.

So I caught the first ep of season 5 and I thought it was ok. I was expecting some surprised but most of the characters turned out as I predicted. Though I didn't predict Nathan being depressed and in a wheelchair. He was annoying in that ep. I hope it doesn't last for too long.
I'm really interested to know what happened to Lucas and Peyton. I definitely didn't expect a hostile reaction from Lucas when he sees Peyton at the basketball court. For some reason, I thought their break was mutual.

Eep! Sorry about that. Edited it. I'm not a big fan of Nathan and Haley, mostly because Nathan isn't my favourite character. I'm a Lucas/Peyton fan. ;D

My thoughts so far on season 5... I'm really liking this season. I'm up to the episode where all the girls were locked up in the library. I think it's my favourite episode so far. Mainly because we get to see Peyton and Lindsey duke it out. I'm on Peyton's side as I want Lucas and Peyton together but I got to admit that she was quite a bitch in this ep. And after this ep, Mia just became my favourite character. ;D I'm really liking where the writers are taking the characters this season. I think this season might be better than season 4!

So finally the new OTH season is airing over here, I am only on episode one and not sure if I need to use spoiler or not since you are no doubt all ahead of me .
I really like that the jumped 4 years, it is like the show as a whole grew up, I thought I would dislike it but it was alot better.
Nathan goes without saying is in a horrible condition (mentally I mean) , but the way the episode ended was on a high so hopefully he gets back to his usual self and realises he has a kid who needs a dad and a wife who misses her husband.
I really enjoyed the first episode, and seeing where they all were in life!

I'm glad they made the 4 year jump too. Most of the dramas would come in High School and seeing them in college would just be High School all over again, in my opinion.
And because of this 4 year jump, it makes the season interesting as there are flashbacks on what happened during those 4 years and how they made it to where they are now.

That is definetly true Irene, the flashbacks are great. Having to endure them all in college would be to much, so it really worked out very well. I just watched Episode two, Jamie is a cutie and a nice addition to the show, Brooke & peyton settling , again great. I loved the scene when Jamie was wearing the driving gear brooke made him, and she told him Peyton is on the suit as his sponser, and it says "Peyton Sawyer, Unemployed" Its great seeing all the different directions they have gone in, and I particulary liked the ending to Episode 2, I like Nate, and it must be absolutely horrible to be so close to achieving your dreams and having it all snatched away from you because of one silly mistake, and it isnt fair for him to make his Wife & Son suffer, when all they want to do is be happy.
