Give it a go, Bec. The first season 3 are great but it goes downhill from there in my opinion. But I still watch it as a guilty pleasure. I loved season 4. Finally got what i wanted with Peyton and Lucas and Nathan and Haley had some juicy stuff too. Season 5 was a step down (as is most shows first season out of school - even the twist couldn't stop that) but i've really liked Season 6 so far.

Season 4 was ok but I thought it was pretty slow. Enjoyed the pyscho-Derek storyline and I thought that made the season interesting. So did Leyton of course.

Episode 5 Wow, Irene you were right is was quite slow to start out, I think the action came in the last 10 minutes, I almost fell asleep I also agree by the time it came there was no excitement left although Deb cracking Carrie over the nut with a bottle of wine was brilliant, that sure looked painful!.
Some great acting from Jackson Brundage, especially the in car scenes when Carrie was telling him to open the door

Nico - From the trailers, I was expecting the whole thing to start right from the beginning. Probably like Jamie getting captured within the first 10 mins and the gang looking for him throughout the episode. Or something along those lines.
Was pretty disappointed with this episode.

Episode 6 I enjoyed it, back to what I love about tree hill those happy episodes. Nathans new Basketball stint looks intereting I personally will enjoy seeing him play again and hopefully his back wont be effected to much may actually be good for him, all those springs!.
Dan spending time with Jamie was quite sweet, is he wanting Deb back? I am not sure what to think about Dan I am not even sure why he was let out of prison I mean murdering someone in coldblood isn't that a life sentence? without parole? I mean atleast longer than 5 years, I missed the reason he was let out. Anyway I forgot what a bad person he was after watching this episode, it was strange.

Dan always manages to do that He's a hateful bastard yet somehow he is still likable in some way!

I watched that ep half way through and then I got bored. I don't understand Dan's situation at all. I don't know why he wants Deb back and I don't understand why he's walking around like this with Jamie. Doesn't he need a heart transplant? I don't know about you but I wouldn't want my kid around a murderer if even he saved my kid's life.
But I'm glad Brooke told Peyton about the attack. That's probably the only thing I liked about this episode.

The show has been picked up for another season, which I think is a bad idea. They should just wrap up the show before it looses all hope, in my opinion. Hilarie Burton (Peyton) has come out and said that she won't be coming back for the next season and judging from the message she posted to fans, it doesn't sound like it was her idea (she might get killed off or something). There's also a high possibility that CMM won't return for the next season. So why again do they want another season?!

Is Peyton still pregnant?? My bet is she dies during childbirth if she is. Then Lucas will take off with the baby I think 6 seasons is enough too Irene. And make it happy for fricks sake. There has been way too much trauma for all of them over the years

Yeah, she's still pregnant. Rumours are going around that she'll die in a car crash (so what else is new?). Writers have said that she will be involved in a car accident but won't die. I hope she doesn't die too. It would have been better if she had cancer (as first suspected) and maybe die from that. I don't know. Something about killing her off in a car crash is so...blah.

It's been confirmed that CMM and HB won't be returning for the next season. I don't see how the show would work without them in my opinion. The writers should have just ended the series at this season. From what I've read of the finale and the reviews from those who have seen it, it sounds like the season finale would have made a great series finale.
So not going to watch OTH next season.

Not even going to give it a shot? I agree though, I am not sure it will have the same attraction as it did losing CMM and HB (and it is just that time to wrap it up on a high note) but I think that to make a proper conclusion on the show you have to watch the next season atleast give it a shot. You cant just pretend it didn't happen (although I also agree with you both this should be the Last season!). Plus, none of my friends watch one tree hill, who would I bitch about the season being mediocre with ! . One bad season (or the few episodes I could bare to watch of one bad season) does not ruin the great episodes/seasons that came before it (for me anyway) Do you know how it ends Irene? I am hoping for a happy ending for them, and will be gutted if they don't get it but if they are both leaving it could very well be (like Loz said) that Peyton dies and Luke leaves with the baby to see his mother. I will be quite annoyed if they do that but if both Peyton and the baby survived why would they leave OTH and all of there friends? hmmm.

I don't see how its OTH without those two I'll still check it out because i do really enjoy the show but i don't have high hopes.

I'm hardly watching this current season anyway. I've lost interest in it and the only reason I'm watching some eps here and there is to see what's happening with Leyton. Even then, I feel Leyton has lost their spark. Do you know how it ends Irene? I am hoping for a happy ending for them, and will be gutted if they don't get it but if they are both leaving it could very well be (like Loz said) that Peyton dies and Luke leaves with the baby to see his mother. I will be quite annoyed if they do that but if both Peyton and the baby survived why would they leave OTH and all of there friends? hmmm. I've read all the spoilers and such on how it ends and it really sounds like it would have been a great series finale - that is of course, if what I read it true.

I liked the finale. Would have made a good end of show finale. Looking forward to seeing how they write next season. Not looking forward to actually watching it though .

I just watched the last two episodes. Loved them. Haley as the minister completely cracked me up, "And Peyton was a bitch" I must have almost cried at least 5 times (and one part got me- couldn't help myself ). Nathan and Haley = perfect. Brooke = perfect. Lucas and Peyton = super perfect. How that is not the most fabulous ending to the show is beyond me Let go Mark, let go!!!

I agree Loz, they all got brilliant endings I was hoping that brooke would get her man and get the love she has always craved from her mother brought tears to my eyes. Haley's choice of vows for the ceremony made me laugh out loud and the look on everyone (especially Peyton's face) cracked me up. Everybody got a really great ending to there story and after seeing the finale I am worried that they are going to start slashing there hopes and dreams yet again which would really suck after everything the characters have already been through. I also loved how they handled Dan in the episode, especially Dan & Karen She would never give him the time of day after what he done so I am glad the writers didn't have him begging her for forgiveness . I also thought his meeting with Peyton was handled nicely, especially his apology that she has to tell her child what he has done one day.

Yeah, i love how Peyton turned to her and goes, "Poison really?? Of all the lyrics in the world you chose Every Rose has its Thorn by Poison??" And then the whole, "By the power invested in me by oneminuteminster.com" The Dan thing was well dealt with i agree. I think its testament to the writers and Paul that i can still have a tiny bit of sympathy for that character. It was a good moment with him and Peyton and Sawyer (cool kid naming there i think, even though its just continuing the James Lucas Scott thing)

Aye, I was surprised by the little bit of me that felt sympathy for Dan, I think he had to meet Sawyer and I was glad he got to hold him. I was also surprised he went to Whitey but I was glad to see Whitey back his scene with Dan was quite powerful. At the beginning when Nathan was telling Haley they should take Jamie and go away for a while, I thought for sure he had been ditched from his team (and the little CW episode description said Nathan is dropped from the blahblahs!) I was shocked (and happy) that it was good news!. I loved the ending scene, Lucas, Peyton and Sawyer in the Comet . I also liked the smaller parts, like Brooke calling Sam. I felt so bad for Brooke when Sam left her she was distraught and it was nice to see her communicate with Sam. Peyton saying to Karen "Thank you, for raising such a brilliant son" was lovely, I always liked Karen. Jamie on his phone when Haley & Nathan were trying to get him to watch the news to see his dad was in the MLB, was a great scene. I loved Peytons baby shower when Mia gave Peyton her gift, pictures of her "eh thank you" hehe .
