Loz she is exactly the same as she was in High School!. I don't think they actually mentioned where Peyton and Lucas are!. The first episode was Jamie's birthday party and there was a present from Lucas & Peyton (Lucas' first basketball given to him by Keith) then Haley mentioned Peyton when some chick tried to end the record label that Peyton started but if my best friend since childhood left with his/her husband/wife and baby I would be calling them...at least once . The writers said Lucas,Peyton & baby are spending time with Lucas' mother, perhaps they don't have phones or computers where they are . It is like a spoof season!.

If they were with Karen, it means they are in New Zealand because there's where she went as she's now with that Kiwi guy from season 2 (can't remember his name now). And I'm pretty sure we have phones there. I hate that they don't tell us exactly where Leyton are and what they are up to. I hope they return for a few eps this season.

I hear the show is being renewed for another season! Is anyone still watching the show? I've completely lost touch with it so I have no idea what's happening right now. I am, however, rewatching season 1. Oh how the show was good back in the day.

I missed a couple of episodes but saw the most part. I don't think it is terrible but I agree with Loz, definitely not up to the standard of previous seasons.
I really thought this would be the last season so I am surprised it was renewed, makes me wonder what stories will be in the newest season !

Well, it looks like either OTH or another CW show Life Unexpected will be renewed for another season and not both. I've seen LUX and I like it. I'm quite a fan of that show so I hope it gets renewed instead of OTH.
Also, Sophia Bush has been casted in a new pilot, which could means she could be leaving OTH. I don't know about the new characters but I really can't see how the show will survive with just Haley and Nathan. They were such a bore during season 5/6.

oh god, this trainwreck has been renewed? Is it on the CW's "Seventh Heaven" traintracks or are they just stupid? The show was good in the beginning, when they were still in high school but these days, ugh. It's turned into this craptastic party that everyone wants to leave but can't because Carrie locked the doors and has put the building on fire. I just keep hoping that Scott Sr will die.. a death like the one Joey had on Days of our Lives on friends (falling down an elevator shaft). That'd be fun and worth my time. I miss the "good old days" when things was still good, when the entire cast was still around and when the plots was more interesting and logical and actually got one excited/sad/irritated/happy etc.

You and me both, Dana. You and me both. I'm rewatching season 1 at the moment and recently got season 2. And I'm enjoying the show again! They should have either ended the series at season 4 (after they've graduated) or at season 6 (when Leyton left). Those season finales could have been perfect series finales in my opinion. Yes, I cannot understand why Dan is still alive?!

I couldn't agree with you more. The ending of season 6 couldn't have been more perfect for a series finale. *kicks CW and Dawn Ostroff* get with the program people, it's over!
right? I cringe everytime he shows up and then just jump until he's gone. And when Rachel showed up, I thought I'd... well.. it wouldn't have been pretty. Can't stand her!

Are Dan and Rachel married? I haven't seen season 7 (not really fussed on watching it) but I hear they were married. What happened there?!

ugh, don't even ask. It was all very confusing and stupid and a complete lack of ideas for plot that made them married. and then they turned Dan into some kind of victim of Rachel and her greediness for viewers and money. So silly there's just no words for it. I think it's safe to say I won't be getting back on the train as it comes back from it hiatus.. *eyeroll*

Rachael and Dan made absolutely no sense. Rachael's character should have been left in a ditch somewhere. I really doubt they will renew the show. Look at the most recent 'storylines' (Although I do have to say I want Brooke to get her baby I think her storyline is the only ones that holds any kind of interest) Haley & Nathan want another baby to I think that storyline has played it's course. As for OTH V Lux, I think LUX will get the boot, it hasn't had very good ratings and they drop every week, I myself find the show rather dull lately BUT the show is cheap to make. OTH shouldn't be dragged on anymore. Sophia Bush is the only redeeming feature.

I agree that SB is the only redeeming feature. Naley got boring after they got that kid, Jamie. Now, I hear that both OTH and LUX may get another but shorter (13eps) season. :-\

It's time for them to move on. Imagine if Dawsons creek or Friends had been dragged on and on when they had already established great endings!.

I know Leyton didn't make an appearance in this season but were they mentioned at all? Like where they are and what they are doing?

Yeah, they are traveling apparently. There are mentions of Peyton in regard to Red Bedroom Records. Brooke mentions P.Sawyer a bit. And Jamie and Nathan have talked about missing Lucas.
I'm really liking Haley's deep depression storyline. Which sounds horrible i know but its been really well done. BJG is doing a very good job.

Not overdramatic like most of the storylines seem to be? At least she has a storyline just for her character. Her story always involved Nathan or Jamie - never on her own.

I remember at Jamie's birthday party Lucas and Peyton were mentioned as sending Jamie a couple of gifts also.
I like Haley's storyline to, her character is always expected to be sweet, nice and stable so seeing a different, dangerous side of her is a good idea.

Definitely. She is seriously messed up and we've never seen her that way. I thought the piano bit was very cool.

I was quite shocked, the first sign I saw something was wrong was her crying after she told Nathan they weren't pregnant, I figured she was just upset but then it become obvious that all of her problems stem from the loss of her mother.
I also thought that Nate and Quinn finding the mothers cell phone and hearing all of the messages Haley has left her mum was a great touch to.
The Piano was a surprise I did not expect it one bit and that was the first clear sign that she is deeply troubled. Suicidal Haley, it is something I could never imagine she was always the one who had it altogether.
