Making of a Murderer - now this is some excellent, addictive and compelling TV. Through my true crime reading over the years I've heard a bit about the Avery case, but this really goes deep. I've got my own opinion on things. I know who I think did it. You'd be hard pressed changing my mind! Bre what do you know about the case mate?? Being your state, and there being a lot of press, I wondered what you knew or thought. I just haven't got into this! I have only seen two episodes so far, and it just wasn't grabbing me. I feel like I'm missing something since everyone seems to be raving about it  |

I think the first half was more compelling than the second. I know they left out a lot of evidence from the documentary that didn't make Avery look good in the slightest. So I won't be signing the petition to pardon him, BUT I just think Brendon's case was so f**ked up and hope he gets out.
I agree that Strang and Buting are incredible attorneys and seem like great people.

I'm not convinced on Avery. But there is reasonable doubt. Calling in the plate days earlier? Finding the key on the 8th search? Not finding any blood or DNA? The other nephew and cousin are suss as. Conveniently they alibi each other... That ex boyfriend and brother creep me out big time. You guessed her voicemail password and also got in and printed her phone records after again guessing the username and password? Sure.... You deleted voicemails. You are grieving before you even know she's dead? They never looked elsewhere, they decided that it was Avery and went after him and then roped in poor bloody Brendon. It's all screwed up. Like Strang said, "I hope he did it", otherwise it's a travesty.

Did anyone else catch The Shannara Chronicles? I loved the book so I am a little unsure about the show so far. Quite a bit different.

Shadowhunters- I read the books and enjoyed them but this show is worse than the movie. Awful acting and I want to punch the actress that plays Clary in the face. Jace (the main male lead) has zero of the darkness and mysterious brooding background he had in the books.
Xfiles- I only watched the first episode. Some of the dialog was a wee bit funky and dare I say it, awkward. I was hoping for a bit more for the reunion between the characters.
Next on my list is Lucifer

I watched the first episode of Lucifer. It was Ok. Has potential but I doubt it will last Agreed. I think it has potential but I don't like where they took the story (I don't follow the comics so I don't know if they are followed it or not). I expected it to be something else. |

I've only read Sandman (not the actual Lucifer series) but Neil Gaiman said he has nothing to do with the show so I doubt they'll stay true to the comics.

I agree with Lucifer.
Xfiles last episode with the fabulous Rhys Darby was killer. It's one you have to and want to watch again.
Gotham starts back soon. I have kind of gone off Arrow & Flash. Does anybody watch Brooklyn 99?

On and off, yes. Still into Arrow and The Flash. And Supergirl. And I've started on Legends of Tomorrow. So I'm on a DC kick right now. Am looking forward for Grey's and HTGAWM to start up again! ;D |

Got it saved on Netflix but haven't gone round to watch it yet? Any better than the movie or close to the books? I caught The Catch and might follow it. Peter Krause got hot in that show! |

I didn't see the movie, got about 20 minutes in and went nope. It isn't great and it does deviate from the books a little. I was hoping the they think its incest plot would be scrapped but nope. I'm watching it but I don't know for how much longer.
