Opinions on the Bitch of Sunnydale? What were your favourite/least favourite Cordelia moments? Did you prefer her on Ats or BtVS? Why?

I preferred the Cody from Buffy. It just seemed more like he "true" interpretation to me - though I'm not completely against her growing up in Angel... Even if it was a little quick for my liking.
In Angel, it really still seemed like a case of girl, you'll be a woman... soon

I thought Cordy was at first a great comic relief character in btvs. Then, when she started dating Xander, she became mostly a regular. I loved her in btvs, as she could be funny sometimes or serious and actually caring others.
I also enjoyed her on ats since she grew up, yet she kept some of her humor. However, I hated the turn she took in the 4th season. I did like her in "You're Welcome", though.
Overall, I would say I liked her more on btvs, because her character was not ruined and made evil.

I preferred Cordyon Buffy to, Her character from angel wasnt bad, But I liked the atmosphere she brought to the group, she was so confident, spoke her mind, and people ended up taking it with a pinch of salt, I miss bitchy Cordy. She also had those great moments where we seen that beneath that hard exterior is a soft nougat centre!

I really learned to love Cordy on Angel. I liked her on Buffy, but she was too much of a bitch sometimes, but when we got to know how lonely she was I really appreciated her. I'm not sure I can pick which I loved better, Angel-Cordy or Buffy-Cordy. They're two very different characters (other than the attitude - which I love).

I loved Cordelia throughout both Buffy and Angel, but moreso in Buffy. Probably because I'm a fan of more bitchy characters, and when she went on Angel, she got really nice really fast (except for in "You're Welcome", where some of her bitch was back.) I do love her in both of the shows, I'm just more fond of her when she's less kind.

See I don't know, I always saw Cordy having her bitchy side throughout all of Angel. That's the one thing I think really stayed true to her BtVS character. She always gave Angel or a baddy a piece of her mind if she had something to say. She just wasn't as mean-bitchy. She was mature-bitchy.

I agree with Bre. I don't associate it as Cordelia in Ats Season 4 either - was Jasmine for most of it :dunno: But I do wish they hadn't done that with Cordy

See, Cordy lost her bitchy side for much of Angel after the first season. There were traces during the second, but by the third, it was basically gone.

I love both Cordys but I prefer her in Ats. She was really nice and Ilike nice people. She was just really sweet and really matured. I loved the affect she had on Angel as well, and vice versa. I always will love the bitchiness because it went from being nasty bitchy to a nice speaking her mind bitchy and who can't love that.
Plus, what they did to her in S4 was a sacriledge. Should have done that to Fred if they really wanted that story. But it wasn'r Cordy though, it was Jasmine sleeping with Connor (her father, ooh) and killing all those people so it kinda takes the edge off.

I don't think Cordy ever completely lost her bitchy side, it lessened because she grew up and became much more understanding and sympathetic to people due to everything she saw. It was a natural character progression imo.

Yeah I see how you wouldn't really associate Cordy with season 4; She wasn't, well, herself. Despite the fact that I know she has to grow up, for character growth and all that. I guess I'll never get tired of her complete bitchy side, though.

I liked Cordy in Buffy, when she joined the Angel crew it seemed she lost alot of that bitchyness. Plus it sickened me that she developed Feelings for Angel when in Buffy she was madly in love with Wesley.

Cordelia was never madly in love with Wesley, they had a brief crush on each other and that ended when they kissed and realised they had no chemistry. And even if she had, people's feelings change over time. Cordy kept some of her bitchiness, but she grew up and because less selfish and more considerate of others.

The thing about the Wesley situation is that it was a teen infatuation. And when something finally happened, both characters realised that there was nothing between them.

Opinions on the Bitch of Sunnydale? What were your favourite/least favourite Cordelia moments? Did you prefer her on Ats or BtVS? Why? I liked her more in Buffy than in Angel. Disliked her from season 3 of Angel onwards. Mainly due to the fact that she started falling in love with Angel. And also because she became a bit bland after season 3. To me anyway. Plus it sickened me that she developed Feelings for Angel when in Buffy she was madly in love with Wesley. I can't picture Cordy begin madly in love with Wesley.

I think Cordy was still very honest. He line about Angel raping his friends memory was actually very Cordy: "Tact is just not say true stuff."

I preferred her on btvs. I loved the bitchy side of her and missed it greatly. Her progression was natural given the circumstances but how can you not miss that sass

I liked both Cordy's. Some of the sass on BtVS was a little too much. Plus I didn't like a lot of her clothes on BtVS

Yeh she had terrible taste! but I think she became better as the seasons went on. In Buffy she wa just a little too superficial and it was unrealistic to keep her the same way, plus it was possible for her to have that to tap into sometimes in Angel
