It's a tough call, but Angel slightly edges Buffy out.
Granted, Buffy's the original, and without that show we wouldn't have Angel, but the latter just has that darker feel and slightly more adult tone.

I get where you're coming from there, Nico.
With Buffy, the show's all about growing up. It's something I still relate to (since I can remember those horrible teen years), but Angel just has the maturity about it, is in many ways about the "adult" live (and no, I'm not talking about Paris Hilton's "on-screen history").

lol! Paris Hilton Yeah, It's like when you watch seasons 1/2/3 although there is the maturity there, theres a lot of childish things, like Cordelia, we all had a Cordelia in our school, and its good to be able to look back to something i watched as a kid and have it still amuse you and love it, just like you did

Oh, definitely.
And that's where I think Joss's creativity shines. We really recognise the characters and situations through things in our lives. It's just so easy to relate to it.

Yer i think Buffy would be my chose. I grew up too with Buffy and i could total relate to it well not the killing vampires in the night and all. Angel and Buffy though their the same theme their totally different. I do like Angel well from what i have seen witch is about 2 seasons.
