Well Giles/ ant of the scoobies I find disturbing. He's like a father figure to them! Also Willow/Spike seems to be a popular pairing, ....eh? Its not disturbing but its weird. I heard of a guy wanting Tara/Joyce slash written for him (pest asked a LJ friend of mine to write it... she said NO) and thats just really really disturbing and weird.
Ethan/Giles is popular.

I've never even tried to read Ethan/Giles but I'd imagine it would end up being pretty hard core yuck! Tara/Joyce whoever that guy is he needs serious help

The only slash fiction I have read are both Spander fics and both written by my friend Farah (Sosa Lola). They're both really good, but then she's a great writer. Oh and I read a Into the Woods slash parody once that she also wrote. Can't say I'm much interested in reading too much in the way of slash though if anyone has any good recommendations I might check em out

I've read some good ones but I tend not to keep track of where I've read them. I think there was a recommendations thread on BW that I found a couple of them in

Okay I'm sorry but all slash is strange to me. Wrong too, no offense. The characters aren't gay except Willow and her girlfriends and they wouldn't be with same sex on the show so they should not be in fan written fiction! So I voted its disturbing. I'm all for a bit of guy on guy action, but its not believable to pair up weird couples from TV in fiction.

I like the fact that its not believeble with Spander, its just a fun little fantesy world. But with Spike and Angelus it is totally believeable, plus its been alluded to on the show

I think alot depends on the writer, if a fan of the show went and done spander, say I wrote some it would suck big time because I'm not a fictional writer, I am hopeless at it but if someone (a fan) who was a good writer did it it would be fantastic.
Giles/Ethan creeps me out!, Spander like Tash said is fun , its just playing with the idea, feels more like its poking fun at it. Spike/angelus doesnt creep me out at all, I think its another fun combination,

I was thinking about this and it depends how cleverly it's done. Using allusions already presented on the show is actually quite intelligent.
Faith and Buffy for instance is a good example. Of course I'm not fan fic writer but you can see the comparisons between sexuality and being a Slayer. When a girl is on the cusp of womanhood she is selected to be a Slayer. Faith represents the more open representation of female sexuality while Buffy is more repressed. While Buffy tries to deny her feelings Faith is more open to it.
Faith comes along in Revelations in the bronze...
Buffy: I wouldn't use the word 'dating', (looks at them) but I am going out with somebody. Tonight, as a matter of fact.
Faith draws a heart flirtingly on the window towards Buffy in Bad Girls. Faith even makes sexual hints about Slaying with her grunting which makes the repressed Buffy uncomfortable and we know slaying makes Faith hungry and horny.
Another one that makes me laugh is Angel and Lindsay. I even read in a book somewhere that Lindsay being upset about Darla and Angel was because he loved Angel (!) lol. He puts on his cowboy boots (oh come on) and goes back to his 'roots'.
Of course the hatred was just repressed sexuality and it was even said that Angel was the centre of his universe. Do I need to talk about Angel 'wanting' Lindsay in NFA and Lindsay talking about Angel's testicles?
In short? It is fun. Especially when we use cues from the show.

I have no idea what mine are...I would say...All of them!
But, seriously...I love slash...and sometimes fem-slash, but then I would need to be really into the story to read fem-slash.
As you can tell by my siggy I love Angel/Xander/Spike. They are just hot to imagine together. I also like Angel/Doyle/Xander/Spike, Xander/Spike, Angel/Xander, Angel/Spike. There has been only one story I have read that I really liked that had Angel/Spike/Xander/Wesley as a pairing and I loved it. And if anyone call get me more stories with that pairing that would be awesome.
Btw- How many of you people go to Spanderfiles? That is an awesome site right there!

Does spanderfiles have videos? If it does, I might have visited. It sounds familiar.

Its alright to post links to sites as long as those sites are PG rated and don't break proboards TOS I haven't seen that site before so I don't know if it would break TOS, so basically if its higher than PG13 rated the link needs to be removed. Anyhow... I haven't read any slash in awhile, but my favourite pairing remains Spander I think.

I don't think I've read any, but Spike/Giles could be interesting. ASH is a very dashing gentleman.

I've read so many slash, I can't count it  My fave slash pairing is still Xander/Spike. Now I'm writing Spuffy. How weird is that? It's actually exciting and it's set in S8, so another excitment.

Not a big fan of slash so I don't really have a favourite. Though Angel/Spike have always intrigued me. Not so much for me to read their slash though.

I never got into Buffy Slash though the thought of Spike/Angelus or Spike/Xander is fun. Joss sure did know how to play to the masses with all is slashy moments.
