I'm going to quote James on this one. When asked if Spike and Angel ever did it, his response was this: *laugh* "Oh yeah, lots a times."

Just remember what Angelus said:
"Don't mistake me. I do love the ladies. It's just lately... I've been wondering... what it'd be like...to share the slaughter of innocents... with another man. Don't... don't think that makes me some kind of a deviant, hmm? Do you? Sharing the Slaughter of innocence and God knows what else.

Who know! I guess it all depends on the mythology. If Jossverse mythology for vampires include guy-on-guy 'interaction', then I wouldn't be surprise if they did. But I'm taking JM's word for it and say yes, they sooo did it.

Yuo can take Joss word for it if you want because he confirmed that they did do it.

Yuo can take Joss word for it if you want because he confirmed that they did do it. Where and when did he confirmed that? Apparently on the Season 5 commentary Joss very heavily implied that they at least experiment. Joss: You know, um, I just wanna say Angel and Spike, they were hanging out, uh, for years and years and years, they were in, you know, all kinds of deviant, they were vampires... Are we thinking they never...? Come on, people! I'm just sayin'. I'm just sayin'. You know, they're open-minded guys. They may be evil but, you know, they're not bigoted or closed-minded." Ok maybe it's not absolute fact but it's pretty heavily implied.

Yeah, I think the quote above pretty much proves it. Besides, it would explain all the tension between them and the stupid fights. And of course, Spike mentioned "that one time"

Ahh I see. I don't have season 5 on DVD so I kinda missed that.

I don't recall it being mentioned in any of season 5's commentaries...
That said, I'm pretty sure they did. Probably with Dru and Darla there, too.

Yeah, I think the quote above pretty much proves it. Besides, it would explain all the tension between them and the stupid fights. And of course, Spike mentioned "that one time" I would say the tension between them is caused by much more than a possible liaison. Intimate can mean different things to different people. Groo says he was happy to have Cordy's intimate touch. Cordy assumed he meant an accidental naughty touch where he just meant a hug. It could have been a kiss or something more. Though Spike does use the term "poofter" in a derogative way, at two vampires living together and at Xander, so the thought of him doing it with Angel is harder to believe for me.

It's interesting though isn't it because often people use terms like "gay" and "poofter" meaning effete and not necessarily homosexual. So maybe 'poofter' was more of a reference to Angelus being a dandy more than anything else.

Yeah, Spike used the word quite a bit, and I always thought he was just remarking about them being effeminate, more than what they get up to behind closed doors.

That's what I've always thought too. I think back in their soulless days it's possible, but not definite that they had sex, but, as I said before, that's what vampires do. They're sexual creatures. If they did I don't think it would have been frequently. It's made very clear that Angelus and Darla had a very active sexual relationship.
I don't think anything was going on in Angel Season 5. I don't see any evidence of them having interest sexually in each other then.
