I recently finished watching the whole Angel series. However I felt the need to watch all the Firefly's again (I wanted to go thru the commentaries again) and also get my sister hooked on the show. So the most recent episode was Ariel. No wait! It was Serenity actually.

I watched "Ariel" about a week ago. Damn Jayne! I caught that on TV a couple of nights back! It's not an episode that I would call one of the funnier ones, but I still found myself laughing out loud in various points. It was great. |

I think there were some funny moments, like most episodes, but overall it was pretty serious. The whole Jayne betraying Mal thing was a pretty big thing, which I think would have been carried out further had the show lasted. It's one of my favorite episodes. |

I definitely would have liked to see some more distrust of Jayne after his actions should the show have lasted.
It's nice to be reminded that the more serious episodes can still make you chuckle, though,

I watched Intervention and Tough Love last. Will probably finish off season 5 tonight with Bernie. I'd forgotten how much Intervention makes me laugh. I laughed out loud again when Buffy saw the bot And the end of Tough Love made me cry  |
