It was a toss up between Season 2 and Season 3 for me, loved both and they both stand out compared to the others. I had to go with season 2, though. (Angelus!)

One of my favorite seasons was 2 because of the Banger thing. I thoguht Banger was much more dramatic and moving in season 2 than in season 3., and Angelus is awesome. My other favorite season is 7 because to me it was the most dark, eerie, and creepy towards the end.

I like all of them (least of all season 4, but I still love much that season, too). It always comes down to seasons 2 and 3 for my favorite, and I always have such a hard time choosing! But I love season 2. Buffy grew up a lot in this season. In some ways, she was just as confused about her calling as she was in season 1 when we first met her, but there was visible growth. And being a seasons 1-3 Bangel fan, I liked seeing the growth and consequences of their relationship.

Season 3 followed very closely by Season 2. I loved Angelus but Season 3 had more B/A moments so it takes the lead. Plus I just love practically every single episode in season 3. I love most of them in season 2 but some I can do without. None of them are bad though..just not the first choice when it comes to picking an episode.

Agreed. Season 3 was so consistent as far the episodes were concerned and the Faith arc was fantastic and a great Spike ep as well and it's the last season before Buffy became impossibly thin.

Nice to see season 3 with 10, that was definetly My favourite Season, lots of great episodes, and the end of high school!

It was hard, but I voted for season 2. I loved Angelus as a villain and I loved Becoming  . Even some of the random episodes like "Killed by Death" I loved. |

I voted for season twp(  ). It was between seasons two and three for me. I liked season two better, though, because it has "Passion" and "Becoming Part 2", my two favorite episodes.  2/5 |

IMO, the greatest season of Buffy has to be 2. It had everything. It had Angelus, B/A, Oz, Spike and Dru, great episodes etc. It was just an amazing season and they were never able to top it. Season 3 came close though.
