This can be deleted if it's not appropriate but this thread is about the traits and moments you liked and disliked. It could be anything from Buffy dying to save the world to Angelus' malice.
I'll kick it off.
Buffy
What I liked
1. Buffy empowering Dawn at the end of Season 6. Powerful moment for me.
2. Defeating Angelus. Showed tremendous strength and courage. (EDIT Actually I should say sacrifcing Angel, she never technically defeated Angelus)
What I disliked
1. Buffy's superioty complex. I noticed it before she said it in Season 7.
2. Her attitude toward Angel in Sanctuary.
Xander
What I liked
1. Being the lameass who cared. He went into battle without any powers and I admired him for that.
2. Buying Cordy's dress for the prom. That melted my heart.
What I disliked
1. Anytime Xander was being a hyprocrite
2. Leaving Anya at the altar.
Willow
What I liked
1. Overcoming her addiction and her arrogance even though she is the most powerful of the Scoobies.
2. Generally being Buffy's best friend. I've always found her adorable.
What I disliked
1. Violating Tara's mind.
2. Threatening Dawn.
Giles
What I liked
1. Being a father figure to Buffy
2. Sounds odd but killing Ben. It was a hard decision to make and he had to live with it. Like it or not Buffy let Glory live and without a slayer and that's dangerous, Giles really made a hell of a save. Not a hero my arse lol.
What I disliked
1. Favouring Willow and Buffy over Xander.
2. Lying to Buffy in LMPTM. I can accept the Spike argument but to lie to the leader like that can be dangerous.
That's all for now. I've got more but computer is playing up so I'm likely to lose a lot of postage so I'll stop here but feel free to add yours.

I wont pick any that you have already lol but i agree with them all Buffy
What I liked1. Not judging her friends choices even though they tended to judge hers. 2. Her skirts in the early seasons What I disliked1. The way she would talk and cut herself off halfway through the sentence, make a face an then carry on with another sentence, and sometimes even cut herself off again. 2. Not getting mad at Spike for hoarding evil demon eggs in season 6 Xander
What I liked1. Fighting even after he lost an eye. Would make most people want to run and hide. 2. Not listening to Giles and going after Buffy in season 1. Saved her life and the world. What I disliked1. His jealousy over Angel. 2. His lack of insight at times Willow
What I liked 1. Her nervous behaviour when she has a secret 2. Her birthday cake like shirts What I disliked1. Being very self involved at times. 2. Threatening Giles. Giles
What I liked1. Giving Buffy some money in season 6 2. Standing up to the Council What I disliked1. Leaving when he did in season 6, not for leaving but his timing. 2. Siding with Faith over Buffy in Season 7 (could have used it for the others as well)

Buffy
What I liked
1. She's so forgiving. Many had betrayed her and hurt her over the years and she firgave them, even though she took a long time to forgive Faith but I don't blame her.
2. How she keeps trying, even when she fails.
What I disliked
1. Her comment about Spike being the only one watching her back, when Xander and Willow were nothing but slaves for her all season seven ---> pre-Empty Places.
2. Thinking she's better than the others and dismissing her friends' courage and sacrifices to help her.
Xander
What I liked
1. Always fighting by Buffy's side even when he's mad at her. Like in Dead Man's Party.
2. Acting like a father figure in season seven.
What I disliked
1. His attitude in Revelation.
2. His bad temper, especially in Entropy.
Willow
What I liked
1. She's very open-minded.
2. Staying at the hospital with Xander and keeping him company.
What I disliked
1. Her attitude in the beginning of S6.
2. Her attitude in Something Blue.
Giles
What I liked
1. How he was very understanding of Buffy's feelings in Dead Man's Party.
2. Standing up to the Council in Helpless.
b]What I disliked[/b]
1. The way he left Buffy in S6, when she needed him the most.
2. Betraying Buffy to kill Spike in S7.

BuffyWhat I liked1. She never tries to kill humans, even Warren who killed one of her best friends. 2. She always does what's right. What I disliked1. The fact that she used Spike so much in the 6th season. 2. How she never usually tells her friends how she really feels. XanderWhat I liked1. How he always has something sweet to say about his friends. 2. How he always protects his friends. What I disliked1. His jealousy (sorry, I had to take it Glenn ) 2. He sometimes doesn't give people another chance. (Spike, Buffy in Empty Places) Willow What I liked 1. She's always there for you, even when you don't need her. 2. How bad she feels when she does something wrong What I disliked1. How she made Tara forget 2. How she tried to repeat it in Tabula Rasa GilesWhat I liked1. How much he cared for Buffy. 2. How he left the council for Buffy. What I disliked1. His season 7 attitude 2. Leaving in season 6

Actually continuing this, this actually wasn't meant to be limited to Buffy characters, I can't remember if someone moved it.
Dawn
What I liked
1. Her attitude in Potential, it was spot on. 2. Her general attitude in Season 7, she really grew up.
What I disliked
1. Being a little clueless about clueing Riley in about Buffy's emotional response to Angel.
2. Being a klepto.
Spike
What I liked
1. Withstanding the torture in Intervention.
2. Finding a purpose in LA beyond 'the girl'.
What I disliked
1. Being an arse to Wood and telling him his mother didn't love him.
2. Continuing to wear the jacket of a Slayer he killed.
Angel
What I liked
1. Angel not simply 'doing the right thing' but comtemplating and standing up for human dignity (Epiphany, Peace Out, NFA) 2. Fighting for human beings and standing up for what he believes in even when he loses the things that matter the most for him. i.e signing away his Shanshu and continuing to fight for others even when he has no reason to fight for himself.
What I disliked
1. The way he treats Lorne in general. 2. The way he alienated Wesley in Disharmony in favour of bonding with Cordy.
Cordy
What I liked
1. Calling Buffy on her behaviour a few times. 2. Putting her man back on track in You're Welcome.
What I disliked
1. Her treatment of Buffy in Homecoming (well the first part of the ep) that wasn't needed.
2. Her treatment of Xander, although that doesn't justify his cheating on her.
