Whoa, hey Glenn, let's not say something we might regret lol.
1. Go Fish. I don't care if Xander's wearing speedos. I don't get any gratification out of it was a complete filler. 2. Giles agreeing so readily with Wood in Lies My Parents Told Me. I just was just so disappointed in him. 3. Wrecked. Ugh, I actually really liked season 6 and then they went and undermined all of it with that episode. Double ugh.

Xander looked awsome in his speedo's. You boys had Buffy and Cordy in their mini skirts and low tops..... so why can't we have Xander in a speedo?!

Lol Tash. I wouldn't care even if Buffy and Cordelia were hanging out in bikinis; if it was a bad episode, it was a bad episode. Using sex to sell such an episode wouldn't curry my favour.

1. Riley letting the vampires bite him never should have happened. To me, it was a stupid way for Buffy and Riley to break up. 2. Spike's Buffy manikin. That was just alittle strange i thought. And with the pictures of her and everything. And then the attempted rape. Yeah, not cool. 3. Angel coming back in season 7. I mean i understand that he had to give Buffy the necklace, but the kiss was not necessary. And neither was him talking about how they used to be and who she was dating now.

1. Buffy and Spike getting together in any remote way what-so-ever. Then making her say she loves him?! Least he knew she wasn't for real. 2. Dawn 3. Willow/Kennedy

Actually he either assumed she didnt mean it or just wanted her to get out of the hellmouth so told her that she didnt mean it. Joss Whedon himself has actually said that Buffy did love Spike, and she showed that throughout the latter part of season 7 anyway, so thats a debatable point.
I also disagree Dawn shouldn't have happened. She was a crucial part of the entire Season 5 arc, and without her the season 6 arc with Buffy's death and recovery wouldn't have worked as it did. They could have made her less whiny though.
I agree with all of Paige's points though.

I'm not sure. Spike has proven himself to perhaps be the most perceptive character in the verse. If he felt she didnt mean it then i would take his word for it. Though you are right in that it could have been getting her out of there is why he said it.

Spike may have been perceptive in some ways, but he never thought himself worthy of her love so it would be hard for him to believe it. But I still think it was to get her out of the hellmouth, had he acknowledged it properly she would not have left, would have done everything to try to get him out of there with her, and he knew his job wasn't finished.

Well Angel also felt unworthy of Buffy's love, but he never told her she didn't love him after she told him she did. Was that a sentance? So I have to disagree there.

Angel may have felt unworthy of her love, but he realised she did love him. Spike on the other hand couldn't understand it, or let himself believe that she could possibly love him. They are two very different vampires who reacted in different ways. Even if Spike thought there was the possibility she did love him, acknowledging it would have made Buffy stay there with him - and by that stage Spike was selfless enough to want her to go on and not try to save him at risk to her own life. It shows a lot of growth in Spike's character for him to do that.

i dont think the buffy and angel kiss was out of character at all she still loved him and he her too, it was a hello kiss.
if anything was out of chatacter with buffy it was the season 6 buffy and spike relationship it was not buffy at all. And when shes was at the brozon and spike came behind her and spike did you know what with her whist she watched the people dow below that was not buffy at all, and the time she and spike he you know what in the building that was falling down after they had a fight that season just wasnt buffy at all, i kindda think that should not have happend. ;D

It was in character with the way Buffy was feeling in season 6 - she wasnt herself in many ways, not just with Spike. And thats not a real surprise considering she was hauled out of heaven and back into what would have been hell for her. People do things that they wouldnt normally do after extreme trauma. And I would call that extremely traumatic wouldnt you?
The Bangel kiss in Chosen was out of character. You dont kiss your friends hello like that. And she was not still in love with Angel at that stage. I see no evidence during seasons 5-7 and half of season 4 that Buffy was still in love with Angel. He was her first love, she still cares for him - love, no. She was by that stage loving Spike, or at least closer to him than to Angel - proven by her leaving Angel and then spending the night with Spike (whether they had sex is debatable, but holding someone all night like that can be just as intimate). Angel on the other hand was in love with Cordelia. She had just died. And BAH to anyone who says he wasnt - Angel says so himself earlier in the season and its clearly evident in you're Welcome. Also, he had just lost his son and he's in Sunnydale playing happy happy? I dont think so. They were both out of character.

Towards the end, I'm not a Spuffy or a Bangel although I'm glad they both happened. The cookie dough speech doesn't just apply to Angel, but to Spike as well.
I think both men are in her heart but overall Buffy is moving on. I'm not sure about leaving Angel to be with Spike proves anything. She needed Spike in the fight and needed Angel to fight in LA, I wouldn't say she was 'choosing' Spike but I agree they were closer because you would be with the time spent.
As for Angel and Cordy? I honestly think he loves both women. In Awakening he says Buffy's name and still clearly thinks about Buffy in season 5 of Angel. I think Buffy will always be a part of Angel and vice versa. He's still jealous of any guy who goes out with Buffy and this remains relatively consistent. Things were tough for both Buffy and Angel but I honestly believe they were happy to see one another.
I do agree about him seemingly forgetting about Cordy. Aparently in the original script Angel mentions he is love with Cordy to Buffy maybe as a reply to what she said about Spike. I think it was cut out for time but I think that would have been interesting and I would have loved to see Buffy have a double standard moment but quickly start thinking about the mission again.
I think Chosen is good for Spuffy and Bangel but completely freezes out Cangel. Maybe it when its all said and done it always comes back to Buffy. He always seems to go back to her no matter what season.

1.Willow and Kennedy-OK, she needed to move on but let her move on with someone else!
2. The attemped rape: It just seemed so wrong
3. Xander leaving Anya at the alter-ok, i am totally against him leaving her but if he had to what a terriable time to do so. If he would have been more honest with her from the start of his problems, then things might not have ended the way they did.

I thought the Attmepted rape needed to Happen, Spike was a Vampire, he was evil and he loved buffy with all of his heart, and evil people do evil things, it wasnt pleasant to watch , and as a Spike/Buffy Fan It was heartbreaking, but I think Joss needed to show us that He was still Evil and show us what he was capable of.

1, Jonathon dying, i preferred him to andrew
2,buffy and parker, it was so obvious that he was after only one thing
3,faith trying to find redemption, we got enough of that from angel and faith was more intresting as the dark slayer

1. Xander leaving Anya at the alter. They should have been married. It was time for him to grow up. I love him but it would of been good for him.
2. Faith should have died when she was blasted with the bomb, I really wanted to see who the next slayer would have been as long as it wasnt kennedy.
3. Giles should have been nicer or something in season 7. he just wasnt the giles I knew.

Giles was written horribly in S7 I dont think Xander and Anya should've gotten married though I do agree he left her at a very bad time

Number 2 is interesting, I love faiths character but I wouldve also really liked to have seen who was the next in line. I agree, S7 Giles made me sad, after all those years to suddenly change him wasnt nice to see I think Parker was only thrown in to make it...more realistic I guess, She had to have a one night stand at somepoint right?, or maybe it was to show a weakness in buffy.

1) Spike getting a soul. I tolerated Spike falling in love with Buffy and the two of them getting it on in season 6 but him getting a soul was too much for me! 2) The gang kicking Buffy out of her own house. I mean, what the hell?! For once, I was on Spike's side - they were ungrateful. 3) Paying more attention to the core four in season 7 Joss mentioned that he was going back to the beginning in season 7 but that never really happened. The annoying potentials, Spike and Wood took up so much screen time that the core four, especially Xander and Giles, were left behind.
