ahhh no.

But for me season 6 all seems to blend together whereas season 2 is more focused on the individual episodes.

So I like season 6 in general, but don't particulary like any of the episodes that much (musical not included).

There are episodes I love in Season 6, and ones I don't like so much, same as Season 2. I never found it to blend together.

but I mean, in season 2 there was a different bad guy every ep for which the whole episode was based on and then the overall bad guy...
In season 6 there was different bad guys but they weren't really that important. Each episode just contributed to the 'life is the big bad' theme.

Nah, I get what you mean. But season 2 towards the end was all about leading up to killing Angelus really. And the main big bads at the start were Dru and Spike. In all the other seasons the various villians along the episodes didn't play a huge part either. They all contributed in some way to the big story arc. I never thought season 6 any different in that way.

well for example, when Angelus was the big bad, you still had eps about a werewolf, some ugly fish, some ghost things... etc and the whole episode was based around those.

season 6 was based around Buffy and Willow's problems mostly. monsters of the eps didnt really do much. Like in dead things, it was about the buffy/spike thing mostly just based around some...dead things... yeah good wording there.... but I must be off because the bell is going...

Hells Bells had nothing to do with Willow or Buffy's problems

And there were single episodes, like As You Were, Normal Again, etc that features various demons. Yes, most episodes were about character development and exploring the harsher side of life. I liked that the bigger story arc was more important than having individual 'filler' episodes.

yeah and the fact that it had more of a 'bigger story arc' means that in my mind, I don't really categorize episodes as good or bad (except the musical because well, it was different.) I just see the whole season as like one giant episode. This is just the way I look at it. Leave my views alone. I'm not weird...

Well, for example: I like season 3, mainly because of Faith and because the major was cool. Not because of any particular episode, just the overall feel of it. Season 4, while having some good episodes, didn't appeal quite as much.

The bvad thing about season 4 was the whole initiative storyline. It was stupid. Bringing the army into the show should have been great, but somehow they runined it. And Adam was the worst villian ever. There was nothing appealing about him.

However there are some of the best episodes ever during season 4. Something Blue, Hush, Restless, Who are You. So that kind of makes up for somf of the crap imho.

Can't choose!! Uh ... the high school years were so nice, we have the old Willow loves Xander who loves Buffy who loves Angel kinda plot that I never get tired of. We have Xander/Cordelia!!! the most interesting couple ever!! We also have that sexy Xangel scene in the hospital (to the ones who don't know what Xangel means, Xangel=Xander/Angel.)

But in grown up seasons we have more Spike !!! Lots of Spander!!

So um .... don't know, love them all.

Well i am watching Season 1 again and i have to say that i am finding a whole new love for it. Some of the dialogue is exceptional, but is let down by some poor bad guys.
I enjoy every Season but Season 6. It just bores me, i liked seeing them go to their dark places but the Season had not enough direction for me. I despised the big bads, both the trio and Dark Willow and i dislike more episodes than i liked which is the only Season i can say that about.

As far as the whole Normal Again vs Lie To Me, i have to honest and skip through Normal Again as it bores me to tears. I had no doubt in my mind while i was watching it that it was the Demon who caused her delusion not the potentiality that she really was in a mental hospital. I guess that kind of ruined the effect for me. Lie to me is an episode i love.

This is my order:

From good to....well...not as good...

Season 2: I've put this as my most favourite because I love its hole atmosphere, Buffy and Angel are together then suddenly there's this hole change where Buffy has to go from loving Angel, to killing him.
The end of the season sticks with me whenever I think of Buffy.
Buffy coming in to find Kendra dead, Willow knocked out, Xander injured. Later Willow trying the spell on Angel while Buffy is having the most cool sword fight ever! Plus the music at the end ties it in nicely!

My favourite S2 episodes include: School Hard, Lie to Me, The Dark Age, What's my Line, Ted (why don't people like it ?), Surprise, Innocence, Phases, Bewitched, Bothered, and Bewildered, Passion, Killed by Death, Becoming.

Season 6: I think the reason I liked this is because of how dark it is, the one thing I love about shows is when they have dark parts to them, always good! Buffy coming back from the dead and Willow going all evil are the highlights of the season for me.
I think what lets it down is the Evil Trio, I didn't really like them till later in the season.

My favourite S6 episodes are: Bargaining, After Life, Tabula Rasa, Wrecked, Smashed, Hell's Bells, Normal Again (I love how Tara used her magic against the demon, lol), Entropy, Seeing Red, Villains, Two to Go, Grave.

Season 7: I don't see why some people didn't like this season, ok so yeah it was the last one but it made Buffy go out with a bang. I'm impressed that Joss got through a hole season with the same storyline. I enjoyed this season mostly for its villians-The First, Caleb, Uber-vamps, Bringers ect...
The only thing that lets it down was hardly any action throughout the season, there was just small patches of it, but I guess the battle at the end makes up for that. I still recon 'Chosen should of been longer.

My favourite S7 episodes are: Same Time Same Place, Help, Selfless, Conversations with Dead People, Bring On the Night, Showtime, Potential, Dirty Girls, Empty Places, Touched, End of Days, Chosen.

Season 3: I don't really know what was bad about this season, but something was off about it, I did enjoy most episodes though. What I did like was how Faith, a slayer, became a villiain and how funny but still evil the Mayor was.

My favourite S3 episodes are: Anne, Dead Man's Party, Faith, Hope & Trick, Homecoming, Band Candy, Revelations, Lovers Walk, The Wish, Helpless, Bad Girls, Doppelgängland, Enemies, Earshot, Choices, The Prom, Graduation Day.

Season 5: This is the first season I got, I liked it alot, but no as much as the others. I think showing fans the Buffy can't always have a good fight was a good idea. Glory was a cool villain and Buffy's mum's death was very horrible lol

My favourite S5 episodes are: Buffy vs. Dracula, Family, Listening to Fear, Triangle, Blood Ties, The Body, Intervention, Tough Love, Spiral, The Weight of the World, The Gift.

Season 4: I liked and disliked this season for reasons I can't explain, lol. I liked Adam as a villain and the hole college thing, but it went too 'Guns' if you get me.

My favourite S4 episodes are: Fear Itself, Wild at Heart, Pangs, Something Blue, Hush, Doomed, This Year's Girl , Who Are You, Where the Wild Things Are, New Moon Rising, Primeval.

Season 1: Good season but I think its dialogue and some of the fights that let it down. Some episodes I liked though.

My favourite S1 episodes include: Welcome to the Hellmouth, The Harvest, The Witch, Angel, The Puppet Show, Nightmares, Prophecy Girl.

Season 2--This was a big season of growth for Buffy and I loved the introduction of Angelus.

Season 3--Epic season with the Slayer vs. Slayer fights and the final battle that involved the entire graduating class.

Season 5--Another period of growth, especially for Buffy. Some amazing episodes. Glory. And a very original storyline.

Season 1--This is what started it all. Great dialogue and I enjoyed the monster-of-the-week format, although I will admit I'm glad they didn't keep it that way for long.

Season 7--Unlike many people I loved this season when it originally aired. There were some potentials that frustrated me and not every episode was as good as the others. There were some holes that were never filled, but I liked the idea of the First and bringing the series full circle and think it was a strong ending to the show.

Season 6--I loved exploring Buffy's feelings about returning and the repercussions it caused. Didn't like Dark Willow.

Season 4--Loved individual episodes, but was disappointed with the Initiative and Adam.

So, it looks like I lean more towards the earlier seasons. I think it's because the Scoobies were closer in the earlier seasons and I liked seeing them happy and healthy and still able to battle their demons.
