Which eps do you feel were either under rated or over rated? You all know I think Conversations is completely overrated I also think The Body is a little, as well as Chosen. (Granted the Bangelness is what turns me off that though) I think Beer Bad is underrated. I don't get the hate for it, personally I find Cave-Buffy awesome

The Body and Normal again are the most over rated in my eyes. We will have a good idea about how kax people rate eps once my ranking game is done Most episodes that people dislike i tend to agree with.

I actually agree with Glenn. I think The Body was overrated. I also thought Ted was overrated.
As for underrated, all I can think of now is Pangs.

I thought the Body was overrated as well. It was a really good episode, don't get me wrong, but everyone talks about it soo much. And all the fanart made for it is kinda disturbing-- and not in a good way IMO.
I think Killed By Death was underrated. I don't get why so many people don't like it. I also think Go Fish was underrated. I get the impression that a lot of people really don't like it... I get that it is somewhat out of place amid all the Buffy/Angelus drama, but I liked the episode.

I thought the Body was overrated because it wasn't the most dramtic episode ever, like everyone seemed to think. It didn't even make me cry. Anya's speech was great, but the rest of it just seemed stale. I don't know, this is all imo, you all must disagree.
I did like Forever, though.

I didn't think the Body was overrated at all. It's a beautiful episode and I think it showed the most emotion from all the characters the best any episode has before. I think Ted is underrated. Why? Well I love John Ritter but also I think it shows Buffy's first reaction to a human death. Yeah she didn't really kill a person, but she thought she did and she felt terrible. That's why I liked the episode.

I wasn't a big fan of Ted, since he was also annoying lol. I didn't like how nobody believed Buffy when she thought something was wrong with Ted. It seems like they never believe her... . I know the food was like controlling them, but still. It was all very weird. Plus, how did Joyce believe that he had not died the first time?

I dont think its fair to class the body as over rated because it has been spoken about alot, The body was an episode you dont have to think about to much, its straight to the point, and Taras comment about death always being Sudden, I thought it was a very powerful episode.
I thought the cookies and other foods controlling them all was silly, and buffy's reaction to Ted also seemed over played, she wasnt that bratty, it was way to far-fetched in my opinion.

The Body just plain bored me. I didnt think it was the greatest piece of work ever done just because there was no background music and there was a lot of contrasty shots. I felt no sadness about the episode, i was just bored mostly.

I actually liked how the episode was completely quiet. It gave the whole episode a feeling of death.
However, I still thought it was overrated, but not because people talk about it a lot. I just didn't like it too much. I found other deaths in the show much more upsetting than Joyce's.

I think the whole idea of no score in the background in The Body was brilliant. I mean what music could you play to really make death feel real? No music is so much more real to me. And in response to the contrasty shots, I think it gave it a bit of a disoriented feel to it. When you lose a loved one, you feel disoriented and the scheme really showed that, imo.

Music can invoke much more feelings though. The Gift music when Buffy dies and the music when Giles finds Jenny left a much more deep of an impact as when i hear the music i start to feel the emotion. The idea of no music in the episode i imagine was to translate how numb it made Buffy. But it also made me numb to any emotions, and as i said, bored

The no music thing didn't have a very big impact on me. It had no impact, actually. I didn't even realize there had been no music during the episode until I read about it.
