Beck- being one of the people running the Buffyworld Awards- shocked me yesterday by saying that most votes for favourite FIREFLY episode were going to 'Out of Gas'. Mines 'Our Mrs Reynolds'....
So what do the fine people of KAX think?

Hah, I've seen 5 episodes only so far. Buuut! I like Shindig the best. Perhaps because Jane Espenson wrote it.

Out of Gas was definately my favorite. shindig + our Mrs Renolds.... were both really good but i found out of gas mind blowing, it was a really powerful episode

Damn I just realised I really need to watch all of Firefly again. I've only seen a lot of the episodes once... I can't pick a favourite because of it.

I've only seen a few episodes that are airing on the Sci-Fi channel. But! my wonderful mom just ordered the DVDs for me today. I'm so excited, and can't wait to get it!

I just realized I haven't posted my answer yet. But yeah I agree with Sammy, Out of Gas was the best. It was an episode with many different emotions. It could go from hilarious (like Wash with the moustache) to sad (  .. like the whole idea of poor Serenity running out of gas). I also loved the three storyline/timeline thing, very artistic I guess you could say. |

Wow. This is hard. "Our Mrs. Reynolds" stands out in my mind as the funniest. Of course, I also found "Jaynestown" to be quite amusing.
But I think I'll go for "Jaynestown" as the concept of a community who worships Jayne? Priceless!

Man, there are so many amazing episodes (from sadly too few), but I'll have to go with "Jaynestown". It makes me laugh every time.

Out of Gas is one of the better more "serious" episodes. It's definitely up there.
