Who's your favorite character? Why? Any characters you hate? Why?
My favorite is Sirius, but Harry comes in at a pretty close second. I just think Sirius is great, he's funny and determined and always comes through for Harry even with the huge risk of getting caught. He's the only parent figure Harry's ever had. Besides the fact that he's the "hero," I like Harry because he's loyal, determined and emotional--in good ways and not so good ways. His emotions make him more real, he's not the perfect hero. Plus, I, of course, have sympathy for him due to his horribly crappy life.

I love Sirius. Don't know why, I just adore him I also really like Draco, but thats more from fanfics than the canon books I don't know... I feel bad for him too. Snape amuses me too. And I love the Weasley twins! Don't like Ginny much, she annoys me :dunno:

I voted other for Voldemort. His history is the most interesting to me, and he's a kick-ass bad guy. But I do love Sirius and Harry as a close second and third.

I voted Sirius. Just love him. Was devastated when he disappeared (i refuse to believe he's dead) and hold out hope of a return in book 7. A close second goes to Ron. I adore poor Ron. He can be an ass but it must be hard living in the shadow of Harry Fred, George, Ginny, Bill i love too - actually all the Weasley's are awesome (apart from Percy of course). Love Harry, love Hermoine, love Lupin, love Hagrid and love Neville. HATE Draco. Don't get how any of you like him at all. Dumbledore annoys me. As does Snape. I despised Cho and Luna.

Sirius used to be my favorite but...after the events of book five...I Had to move on. I've since decide that the true love's of my life are the Weasley Twins. I can't get enough of them. They are my favorite parts of all the books it seems. Everytime I read a scene with them in it, I atomatically enjoy it.

Sirius rocks HP! I love him he is just so loyal and such, his anigamus form suits him so perfectly.
I love the Weasly twins and Luna... I too am not to fond of Ginny but that may be because she reminds me of Lily and because I am a fan fic junkie I really hate the way she is portrayed in Fanfic. Made me really dislike her.

After seeing film 3 my love for Sirius grew even more, also, my love for Lupin was born. I liked him in the books but when i saw him onscreen i think the actor did a great job and made him such a great character.
Harry i prefer in the books than on film. Sorry people but i dont like Dan Rad and never have. I dont think he is a strong enough actor. Particularly apparant for me whenever he has to get all emotional. When he finds out Sirius is his godfather and he is crying on the rock and his reaction to Cedrics death i thought were poor. It was the fathers reaction that got me upset.

I don't like Daniel Radcliffe! He looks the part but he's a bad actor. He got better. I like Ron best. He's funny and he reminds me of Josh when we were little lol!

I don't mind Daniel Radcliffe. I think he's gotten much better through the years. His reaction when he found out about Sirius being his godfather was poor, but I thought he did a good job when he came back with Cedric's body. I actually didn't care for Amos's reaction, I think he took it a step too far--then again, I really hate Amos.
I really like Remus too, I agree the actor (David Thewlis, I think) did a great job. I forgot to mention how much I love the Weasley twins too. They are friggin hilarious and bring so much to the books. I was happy that they were in the fourth movie a lot.

I'm the opposite, I'll hate Snape if he turns out to be a baddie in the 7th book.

I think it was impossible for Amos' reaction to be able to go too far. I mean it was his son. If Snape turns out to be bad i will hunt down Alan Rickman (like its his fault)

I just hate Amos and therefore have a hard time sympathizing with him--as horrible as that sounds. In the book everytime he opened his mouth I wanted to stangle him. I don't care whether or not Snape turns out to be good or bad, I was never a fan. I thought he was a right bastard and ass and I don't understand why anybody can like him.

I like Hagrid! He is a big lovable oaf with a heart of gold, and when things go wrong for him you will feel sorry for him, but when they go great you cheer! We atleast I do!

I like Molly Weasley, but she's not my favorite. I actually think she's pretty funny and it's great how she has such control over her family. No one likes to cross her. I loved in the Chamber of Secrets movie when she runs down the steps when they get to the Burrow and switches between yelling at her sons and being all consoling towards Harry. She's also very loving and it's great how she basically took Harry into her care, trying to take on the mother figure that Harry never had.
