Okay, I know there are a few WoWers here who like to play online, so there's some form of audience for this thread.  That, andf the threead is inspired by Glenn's wanting to get his PS3 online. So who plays online, and what do you play online? I use my 360 to play online, and take basically any game with online multiplayer functionality on. It can be fun, though I'm yet to buy a game solely for multiplayer... |

On the PC I play Continuum: Trenchwars and Tales Of Pirates, both are fun!. On the 360 I play perfect dark, or I used to, I would play with my brother as it is easier to laugh at morons, and plan mutinys  . |

From what I hear, though, you really shouldn't trust Bernie. I've heard horror stories about what he does to n00bs after "befriending" them. |

the only game i have ever played online is resistance fall of man, the actual game aint that great but the online battles are loads of fun, actualy the online stuff is the games only redeeming feature

From what I hear, though, you really shouldn't trust Bernie. I've heard horror stories about what he does to n00bs after "befriending" them. Huh? You can only befriend someone if they are on the same side as you. Then there is nothing bad you can do to the lower level players. And as long as you aren't marked PVP then no opposing players can harm you either. Bernie and I have both helped out a lot of lower level players, it can actually be fun. |

Obviously Paul and I have both played Resistance: Fall Of Man online. I truly suck at it, but I don't care, I have loads of fun anyway! But we have also started playing Guitar Hero 3 online too, which is great fun as you can have a guitar battles or play co-operatively (with one person playing the lead & the other laying bass) which are both awesome features. I've been tempted by WoW in the past, but I don't like the idea of having to pay monthly subscription for the privilege so I've never bothered. |

The cost doesn't worry me because there is so much to the game and its constantly updated so there is always something new to do. Course I would prefer no cost but its by far the best game I;ve ever played |

It is a MMO, or some other form of online game? And the Firefly one's still meant to be coming out too, isn't it? In which case, Nico, it might be the second last one you pay for. With the monthly subscriptions, I'd want to know I was getting my money's worth. One thing about the 360 (and PS3 for those with one) is that you pay an annual subscription fee (I think you can get them for shorter times) that cover all the games. I don't think any MMO's are available on those consoles yet, but when they are, it'll be interesting to see if you have to pay an extra fee, or whether those fees will be inclusive. |

Maybe I will see you there one day then Beck I dont know to much about it, but what I do know (Travel threw the stargate to different lands to fight, trade, explore) sounds very interesting and diverse. I have never even heard of a Firefly game!, but oo you may be right Allan. I am a sucker for brand games, For example BTVS, the games werent all that, low my rankings but I like BTVS so I bought them . |

I read a little bit about the Stargate game about a week or so ago. It is a MMORPG. but it doesn't feature Atlantis. It's apparently in continuity with SG-1, and one of the earlier seasons before Atlantis started.

Raimon has been playing Call Of Duty - Black Ops online almost every night since he bought it. He complains because young kids beat him all the time. And we know they're kids because we hear them talking into their headsets. He plays a couple of other warfare ones, but CoD is his new baby lol.
