I wanted to punch Will in the face for the entire episode, what a pain in the ass he is turning into! I usually like him too. Rachel also was annoying but that is typical Rachel. Loved Brittany in this episode, she is fast turning into my favourite character. But uh... Carl is the school dentist? Or he is just set up there? Urgh I agree! I have never been a Mr Shue fan, but he is just irritating. Why are you singing with the kids? Piss off! Go teach Spanish! Loved Heather Morris this episode. I always find her absolutely hilarious (and a great dancer - she was originally brought onto the show as a choreographer! She has danced with Beyonce etc), and this episode was no exception! Although, I would have liked to see a bit more of who Brittany is - maybe show her at home, her family etc. John Stamos did a great job! Really enjoyed his character. How gross about Rachel and Artie's teeth Santana's line was hilarious Overall, I liked the episode - but as far as artist-centric episodes go, I don't think it was as good as the Madonna or Gaga episodes.

Watched half of it before my uni internet crapped out on me... Anyway, I wasn't really thrilled with what I saw. The show started off with having the song and dance numbers aiding the storytelling but ever since the back-nine episode last season, it's becoming the opposite. Too much performance and too little storyline. It's getting quite boring. And since when did Will become such an ass? The part when Will told Kurt to go to the principal's office for speaking his mind came out of nowhere. I'm pretty sure other characters did even worse and they didn't get sent to the principal's office.

I agree about Will, like I said in my post he is a pain now. I disagree about there being no story, I am glad it has never been too heavily reliant on stories. It to me is in the same mold as Grease. There is a story there, but it takes a back seat to the songs

I'm not a huge fan of musicals so maybe that's why I'm finding it quite boring.

I didn't think Will's line about Kurt going to the principles office came out of nowhere, he is a teacher 1st and foremost and if I spoke to my teacher like that I would have been in trouble to Will was an arse the entire episode, I wanted to punch him. I enjoyed Rachels cover of Paramores 'only exception' alot.

Yes I really like her cover. It was the best by far that I have heard her.
I don't know if it was just me but have you noticed she doesn't squint her eyes as much anymore when hitting her notes. Her facial expressions used to really bug me while she was singing but she has toned them down and it looks more realistic now.

I certainly enjoyed the new ep. I liked how they handled the darker tone/storyline. Finn can be quite dumb sometimes. Even though I think he's a poor singer, I thought he managed to pull of Losing My Religion pretty well. Really enjoyed Kurt's and Sue's storyline.

Yeah i didn't think much of it. It was a strange way to deal with the topic.
I enjoyed Sue's story. But i always like anything with her and her sister. Chris Colfer showed his acting chops again. He is impressive.
Songs, eh. Puck does a good Billy. I Want To Hold Your Hand was nice.

I just found out that Gwyneth Paltrow will guest star. I wonder if a Coldplay song will be featured.

I thought it was a pretty shoddy episode, I also wasn't surprised by the closing number the second I realized it was a religious episode, reminded me of Joan of Arc. I love that we are seeing more of Sue's character, we are seeing more depth to her and those scenes with her sister I agree are always great. I am hoping we see more Quinn soon, I think she had like 2 lines in the last episode

I thought Quinn would be featured more in this episode since it had to do with religion. I'm disappointed that the writers didn't use her enough.
The episode got preachy at times with it's whole "God doesn't exist" lines, I thought.

How is that preachy in the slightest? Is it not the opposite?

Yeah, preachy in the opposite way - if that makes any sense at all. The atheists that were depicted were atheists because they suffered some sort of tragedy in their lives, which was a bit stereotypical. Surely there are others in Glee that didn't believe in God because exploration into religion has them convinced that this path is the most logical. This was an episode about spirituality but other faiths weren't explored. There were two Asians in the group but nothing on Taoism or Buddhism was touched on. I still enjoyed the episode but it could have been better if they didn't focus too much on the whole God or no God issue. And how old was that sandwich anyway? And Finn still ate it!

Another mediocre episode for me, I enjoyed Quinn singing and Tina/Mike. No Sue took most of the comedy out of the episode and made it forgetful.
Anyone see the sneak peek to the Halloween episode?

I liked it more than last weeks crap fest but it wasn't a fave. I like Sam. Kurt's number was pretty awesome. Are they trying to get more of a male audience with the Brittany and Santana moment No Sue sucks.

I like that Rachel has decided everything is not all about her, even if it is only slightly a change for the better.
It was an ok episode. In regards to last weeks I actually liked Finns rendition of Losing My Religion.
Wonder when Puck is back.

I thought the song selections were really good, and fit the characters. Kurt's voice has really improved (not that it was bad before, I just think it is better now) - seems like he has more control.
