It goes straight to the crap movie i've heard. Nothing in front at all. No trailer, ads nothing. They'll want to bleed the morons dry so will put out "Special Editions" every six months i imagine.

Yeah, that's why I asked - I heard that too Apparently they're going to put out a special edition with the features later this year - to get you to buy it twice The special features are the only reason I would watch it again.

But don't people who buy the DVDs read the back of it to see if it has any special features before buying them? I do that when I buy my DVDs. It makes me think twice about buying it. I started doing it after I learnt my lesson from Serenity.

A lot of movies do it, I either wait if I want special features or I don't bother. I enjoyed Avatar, but like any other movie I would not buy it more than once.

I bought two versions of LotR. But I haven't for any other movie, unless I was in love with the movie, like with LotR. Last DVD I got was Corpse Bride for my cousin's birthday.

I like watching Special features, but with Avatar I won't bother. I can't imagine there would be much to talk about other than the cgi

The comparisons to Pocahontas? They will probably do a lot of make up stuff, maybe deleted scenes, cast interviews. Usual stuff. I'm not that interested in special features on most dvds though

Bad Boys II & II I'd been thinking about getting for awhile. SatC was an impulse buy, wasn't that fussed to have it on DVD

I have Sanctuary on my netflix queue. Let me know if I should watch it. I looked for Dollhouse today at a used DVD shop, but couldn't find it. I'll keep checking back for it, though.

An old rental store had a bunch of weeklies on sale for $5 each so I picked up a couple of Batman cartoons, Catch That Kid and a Dora dvd for the kids and I grabbed Southland Tales and Friday Night Lights (movie)
