I'm thinking of taking Ella to dance classes. I found the perfect place and there is a special group for tots, and then they can continue on.
Did anyone take classes outside of school? What classes were they>
I briefly did horseriding and also played netball. Later on I played some badminton.
Dylan obviously has his horseriding and Sean his Diamond Ball. But I am pleased to say Sean is keen to play both cricket and footy!

Ooh great idea! I did ballet from ages 3 - 11 and really liked it. I also did swimming, tennis, clarinet, speech and drama, tap dancing, art classes, debating and public speaking (all at the same time, lol, I was a busy kid).

Ahaha I know right. Feel sorry for my mum, all that driving around! Oops, missed two - I also did hockey in grade 8 and fencing (weird hey, all my friends did it for some odd reason).

I never did anything. Stuffed knees blah blah. I want to put Olivia into something but the local dance school won't let parents stay for the lessons, to get rid of 'pushy parents'. But she's always copying the dance shows so maybe when she's bigger.

I did dancing, ballroom, jazz, tap and ballet. Piano lessons, tennis lessons, swimming lessons and gymnastics. I didn't do any sports at school.

I was more into sports so I did basketball and soccer. I did drama as well. Compared to everyone else, I look like a slacker!

How did you guys manage all of that lol. Since I did nothing, I'm sure I would have been bored. And I would have appreciated the time away from my family.

I didn't do a lot either, but I doubt they all did all of those things every year I did drama at college, forgot to add that in.

Physie It was the big thing in Eden when i was 8. My mother drew the line at me being covered in make up. I wasn't allowed to wear 5 inch make up like some of the girls

Wow. That make-up is ridiculous. I didn't do all my sports activities at once. I did tap and ballet at a different time than gymnastics. I did some sports too in middle school and freshmen year of high school. I played volleyball and basketball, but got sick of how seriously people took it. I also did girl scouts for a while.

Oh I did girl guides too but only for about a year. I had to choose between that and my running, and I went with running. Times clashed with the inter-school team practices or something. I suppose I should have added running, but I really only competed in that through school

We had a rule in all schools that all students must join a uniform group. I would have joined the NCC (which was the junior army) if they allowed girls in it.

Sean got his medal for Diamond Ball on Saturday. I was unfortunately not there, but his grandfather took him. He is very proud of that medal! On to martial arts class of some sort now, until Diamond Ball starts again in October. With all this violence in schools I want my kids to know how to defend themselves if they have to. Yes, I am paranoid. And I dont care
