It's time for a new thread!
Last movie I saw was Sex and the City 2. I thought it was okay. Not great, not terrible. I enjoyed seeing the characters again, but I can see what some critics have seen about it being anti-Muslim. I think they should have stayed in NYC - New York was like the 5th main character in the original series/first movie.

I watched Garden State and 27 Dresses today. Garden State was okay, above average, but not one I'd watch over and over again. 27 Dresses was great! Funny and touching. I'm such a girl I was almost in tears at the end! I really need to cut down my list of movies to see. ETA, since I wouldn't want to break the rules : I watched Vantage Point tonight. It was a good movie. I saw the "twist" at the end coming, and then decided it wasn't coming, so I was mad at myself when it actually did happen. But I rather enjoyed it--and was glad it wasn't one of those insanely long movies.

Rewatched Bend It Like Beckham. Never realised until now how much it's so much like my life at the moment.

I watched The Invention of Lying and also Invictus, both we just bought on Bluray coz we are building up our collection. Both were good. Invictus was moving, had a tear in my eye on a few bits. The Invention of Lying was alright, funny lines here and there, but I expected it to be a little better.

I watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist today. I loved it! The only thing was the puking scene in the bathroom. Maybe it's because I'd just eaten, but it was about to make me puke, too, so I had to kinda cover the screen during that part because it was grossing me out.

I loved that movie! I didn't like it that much when I first watched it but I enjoyed it a lot more the second time round. I love that puking girl and her gum!

I watched Ghosts of Girlfriends Past today with my lunch. It was better than I was expecting, so I was pleasantly surprised, although I thought the ending scenes with his uncle and the three ghosts was pretty crap.

I watched Chocolat. Chocolat Johnny Depp is much hotter than Fear and Loathing Johnny Depp. Even though he is only in this movie for probably 30 minutes or so. Overall, I enjoyed the movie. Made my stomach hurt, though, thinking about all of the chocolate.

Sounds lame. I watched Legion and The Wolfman last night. Both were pretty lame. Legion could have been cool, but it was way too much fighting and not enough of that great religious symbolism that I love.

Remember Me. I thought it was okay, although IMO the ending was stupid, and..not melodramatic, but it just seemed pointless.

I watched The Shop around the Corner yesterday. I love black and white movies! Saw The Good Guy today. It was predictable the further you got into the movie, and boy can they fit a lot of cusswords into one sentence!, but I enjoyed it.

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. I enjoyed it, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't read and loved the book so much. Too many things were left out or different

Seven Pounds
Really enjoyed it. I was expecting some sort of supernatural twist at the end but I was glad that didn't happen. Will Smith, as always, was great in it.
