I'm guessing it's the Keira Knightley factor, but if you can overlook that (she's only supporting it in, and part of the film the character is played by a younger actor), it really is a good film.

Not at all. Keira is alright. Its the "i know the story and what happens" factor. No desire to read or watch that. I sometimes have instant reactions to books and films and Never Let Me Go is one of those.

That's fair enough! Boy A. I might be on a bit of an Andrew Garfield kick I don't know if 'enjoyed' is the right word for this movie, I had to fast-forward the bit where they kill the little girl. , but I think it's a good film. Garfield did a fantastic job (he got the BAFTA for this role), and made the audience almost sympathetic to Jack/Eric. Recommended.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I enjoyed it. My favourite part was when Horvak was using mind control on someone and his apprentice pops up with "These are not the droids you are looking for" Nice little Fantasia broom scene too. It wasn't a great movie but thoroughly enjoyable.

We saw meet the fockers:Little fockers. Wasn't bad, would've liked to see more of the kiddie winks but there were some hilarious moments.

I think it's better than Princess and the Frog but the music wasn't as great. I thought PatF's music was better. FInally watched it today. I agree that PaTF's music is better, but I think PaTF is just a bit better overall. Alan Menken does awesome music thought - Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Alladdin, Pocahontas, Enchanged. I really enjoyed it though! The lantern scene was so lovely! Apparently it is the second most expensive film ever made, and it is the most expensive animated film, with a budget of $260 million. Whoa. Interesting that Kristin Chenoweth was originally cast as Rapunzel. I think MM did a good job though.

I didn't know Kristin Chenoweth was first choice for Rapunzel. I thought Moore did a good job so it's hard to picture Rapunzel voiced by someone else. Does anyone know if Zachery Levi really sings in the movie?

Yup, it is! He has a good voice, not as good as James Marsden though.

Nah I much preferred Tangled to Princess and the Frog. I can't imagine anyone else as Rapunzal, I thought Mandy Moore did a great job. I liked to story and i liked the animation and songs.

Meet the Parents and Meet the Fockers. I enjoyed the second one a lot more than the first. First was too cringworthy for me.

Why did you think it was cringeworthy?? I like the first one a lot better than the second, but thought they were both pretty funny.
I'm almost finished with Sophie's Choice. Damn it's depressing.

I had to watch that for school, yep it is.
Predictable is a better word Bre. I knew as soon as I saw the altar it would end up on fire, as soon as he was told not to flush the toilet that something would happen, that something would happen to the urn of ashes, that something would happen to the cat. None of his screw ups were a surprise, I saw them all coming a mile away. I enjoyed most of it but I don't like movies that are that predictable.

Meet the Fockers was slightly better than Meet the Parents. I spent the whole first movie thinking, "Oh god she is not worth it!! LEAVE!!! ". Not going to bother with the third one.

I watched The King's Speech today. Aside from some crappy theater moments (the screen went black for about 5 minutes ), it was great. I expected a very dramatic movie so I was so glad to see a lot of humor in it. Great acting all around. And I absolutely LOVED the music. Oh and it was the first movie I went to in which the audience clapped at the end.
