(I was sure we had a thread for this allready?, but I couldnt find it searching) After reading the Pizza thread, I was wondering what everyones favourite Fast food place and restaraunt is?, i saw a few places in america we dont have here in scotland, actually I saw tonnes of fast food restaraunts we dont have here. For Restaraunts, In the USA I went to Ruby Tuesdays, and My god it was Delicious, I am going to take steven there for his birthday lunch so I can have more , You americans dont half serve Mega Portions, there gigantic! I only have a small mouth . Fast Food Places, I would say KFC, I like there chicken, I hate chicken nuggets now, I prefer chicken with a sauce but not in batter!. Edit: Meant to say usa = Giant portions

I love McDonald's. I don't think anything beats that. But there's a place in the food court at the mall and (since they don't have McD's) I always go there - it's called Flamers. It has the best chicken fingers EVER!

Lol, Nico. If you wanna by in America, you need a big mouth . My favorite fast food place used to be Taco Bell, until the outbreak of E. Coli. Now it's Subway. You just can't beat it (I count it as fast food). My favorite restaurant is probably Cheeseburgers in Paradise.

As for restaurant, my favourite is probably Ju Ju, a Japanese restaurant in Sydney. Sadly, being around four hours away means I can't go that often... As for fast food, I'll have to say Nando's. And Canberra finally has one!

Favourite restaurant...Hm. I'd have to say Texas Roadhouse. They have the best...well, everything.
Fast food? Screw McDonalds and Burger King! A&W for the win!

Hmm I like Subway a lot. Macca's is a classic, and KFC is pretty yum. Hungry Jack's (Burger King) has good burgers!

Maccas is quick and easy, but I'm not a big fan. I prefer Hungry's.
I love KFC, though.

What's A&W, guys? Mmm... Montezuma's. Always awesome. I thought they still had one in Civic, Beck. And where's the Woden one?

Belluci's is great, Beck.
As for Monties, I thought the Phillip one closed, then the Woden one was new. It's kinda disappointing that we only have one in town, now. I heard that the Woden one is now going more for a quiet family atmosphere, rather than tequila shenanigans, which is a little disappointing if true.

It's the restaurant that created A&W root beer, I believe. It stands for All American Food.

How does "A&W" relate to "All American Food"? What kind of food do they sell?

How does "A&W" relate to "All American Food"? What kind of food do they sell? Lol, I really don't know how it stands for All American Food. Maybe it's just their slogan? . Anyway, they sell like burgers and fries and such. It's pretty much like any other fast food place

A&W actually stands for Allen and Wright, the two founders. All American Food is just like a slogan or something. And I don't like fast food much. I like Arby's a lot, but it all seems weird to me now that my science teacher pointed out that all the food tastes the same all over the country. I never thought of that before, and now it freaks me out.

Ah, thanks for the clarification, guys.
I don't mind fast food, it serves a purpose - ie, fast and convenient.
That said, I'd rather sit down and eat at a restaurant.

Phillip one closed a long time ago - as in years The Woden one is new, it moved from Civic about 6 or so months ago. And it is family atmosphere, you're right. But there are still the fishbowls :eviltail:

I didn't mean to insinuate that I thought there was little space between them. All I ment was that I thought the Woden one was unrelated to the Phillip one, and different to the Civic one... If that makes any sense whatsoever. But the fishbowls are awesome!
