Inspired by Irene's post in the Beer thread. I could make these two threads but I feel like we have enough beverage threads now. Anyway ... what are your favorite/least favorite wines? And your favorite/least favorite mixed drinks?

Most wines that originate from "Mosel-Saar-Ruwer" in Germany is good stuff in my book! As for drinks, I can't say I have a favorite. I try to mix it all up and try different things. As long as it's not too sweet I'm good Loz - Bubbles is good stuff!

Love bourbon and coke. I have tried all kinds of mix drinks but I always seem to come back to B&C. Prefer white wine over red. Sparkling white wine is my favourite. The only red wine I like is this box wine called Woodhills. I think it's Woodhills. I can't remember. Yes, people, some cheap wine is great!

I like fruity drinks like:
Pineapple juice and Malibu rum Sex on the beach Appletini
Non-fruity -- Jack and Coke
Wines -- any Merlot from Chile or Brazil ... Casillero del diablo is pretty good.

My favourite drink is Jack Daniels and Coke. I also like some Chardonnay, though some is terrible. I am yet to discover a Riesling I like. I don't dislike champagne but I can't drink it, it makes my stomach feel sick even after half a glass. Quite like Bacardi though it is rare I drink it, the occasional Orange Bacardi Breezer. Midori is also nice with lemonade but it is too sweet to drink much of. What can't I drink? Hmm. Tequila makes me way too drunk and unwell And I hate anything coconut flavoured.

Just so you lot know, Beck can drink JD & Coke like no one i have ever known I don't know where she puts it!!! I can't drink things that have made me ill before. So off the top of my head that's: Southern Comfort, Jim Beam, Vodka (especially Absolut - also can't drink Lemon and Lime Solo because of that same incident ), CSC's, Butterscotch Schnapps, most red wines and ports.... I'm sure i'm missing something

I can consume rather a lot of it But I have been drinking it for 13 years now so I've obviously built up some immunity to it Vodka cruisers I can have a couple but they are too sweet for me.

I am not a big drinker. I drank more when I was 16/17 than I do now! I do like champagne and Pimm's.

The one and only time I drank red wine, I was seeing fish jump out of the carpet. Not sure if it was all the red, or a combination of the stuff I'd drank before that lol. But I won't touch red wine now anyway.

That is a little odd... I've never hallucinated on alcohol. What had you had before that?

can't remember, so I was probably just that drunk. Plus the carpet was reddish/brown with black swirly patterns so I'm sure I wasn't the only one seeing funny just looking at it lol.
