Isn't it lovely!? Very well done Princess (I know she's Duchess, Princess is better  ) Catherine! Oh it's absolutely lovely. I would wear it in a heartbeat. I still haven't seen a proper pic of the shoes though  What did you think of the veil? I liked it but I was talking to Nate (because my dearest just kept saying he didn't care  ) at the time and he thought it was ugly. We both agreed she should not have done her own makeup!! |

Yes, the eye shadow was far too dark and not morning appropriate! I thought the same for the engagement portrait photos...

Yeah I thought her eye make up made her look older than she is  I liked her blush job and lips though. And her hair was very nice. She has really lovely hair. |

I think a lot of people were like that Irene. Suckered in I find it annoying that all the good stuff is up front and then there are all the readings and prayers and fricking singing for ages and ages! Liz, Chelsea is a bit of a frump I reckon (hated what she wore to the wedding too) and seems pretty dull. Harry needs someone cool. He should hook up with an Aussie |

Is it just me or does anyone else find it creepy that they keep comparing Catherine to Diana? They say she's the next Diana which essentially means William married his mother. Which guy would ever want that?! Did anyone find out what shoes she was wearing? I blame Loz on getting me so curious about it! |

This is the closest i've come to seeing The Shoes If that's what they were i'm not a fan. Plain nude they would be pretty. I don't think Catherine is anything like Diana. Di was a 19 year old virgin, from an aristocratic English family with royal ancestry and had just gotten her first job. She wasn't real smart book wise. She had met Charles a total of 13 times when they were married. She had no idea what she was getting herself in for and was marrying a man who did not give a crap about her and was in love with Camilla. Kate was born into a family whose ancestry is coal miners. Her parents were a trolley dolly and airline admin worker before their party planning business. She was always ambitious and smart and has a degree from St Andrews, one of the best uni's in the UK. Kate and Will were mates then together for years. She has seen it. She knows what its going to be like. She is as prepared as she can be. And i have no doubt at all that William genuinely loves her. When they say the next Diana i think they mean she is young and beautiful and someone people seem to like and care about. Its been a long time since the royals had that in a woman. |

I also want to remind everybody that St.Andrews is Scottish and another reason why Scotland should be recognized as a Country!. I liked both her dresses, particularly the evening dress. I also liked her gear for leaving on the honeymoon, the photo of them both holding hands leaving the palace was one of my favourites. I do wish they would stop referring to her as a commoner, this isn't the middle ages any more |
