Is anyone else planning on watching this? I fear these kids will put me to shame but I am looking forward to seeing it.

Yeah I saw the ad for it, looks interesting, they will probably be able to cook better than me as well. But being kids I think they have more of an inventive mind as far as food goes because they haven't experimented with everything yet. I think they might find some new combos that no one has thought of!

Noooooo I missed it! My brother and dad insisted on watching some 9/11 thing on the History channel. I have to download it for my uncle, so I'll get back to you. How do they do the eliminations?

So far they had groups of 10 then 4 were chosen to go through to the next round.

Some of them are very talented. Some of them are also very annoying. The judges are being very good with them.

I watched last night. Agreed about the judges, nice thing to say about each kid. Some of that food looked really yummy.

They are very talented. The ads annoy me though because they showed some of the kids that were in the second round before they had showed the first rounds so I knew a few of them were through.

I have been watching it and that lady has the same face after tasting each meal unless she doesnt expect it to taste like that. The judges are very good with the kids and it is good to see them mucking around. Have you noticed that Today Tonight and ACA are all bagging them out? I think it is just giving them more airtime and making more people watch it anyway, lol.

Watched again last night - Mum and Dad really enjoyed it too, and they usually hate those sorts of reality shows. Pity it won't be on again til mid-October - Commonwealth Games etc...

The shows were claiming that channel ten was just exploiting this masterchef for all it is worth and they are scraping the bottom of the barrel, blah blah blah. Channel 9 was talking bout the fact that they found one of the contestants first when they did "Minichef" a year ago or something. But I think they talk about it because they know it gets people watching it. They know they can't compete with it so they just do shows on it, lol. |
