Not really your thoughts exactly since you then banged on a bit....
People bitched flat out about Heath being the Joker and screamed boycott, and look what happened there. The only casting decisions I really knock are when the people aren't talented and capable. If someone cast Taylor Lautner in Ep VII for example, I would have a meltdown because he just cannot act his way out of a paper bag. Affleck is a damn good actor. He's proved it time and again over the past few years.

I'm not keen on it at all, but like Loz said who thought Heath Ledger would be a good joker? Will reserve judgement until I see it.

Yeah obviously my thoughts are just my initial reactions and I'll definitely see the movie. I love Ben Affleck and Batman but I'm just having a tough time seeing him as Batman.

I wasn't a fan of AH in DKR. She was OK but nothing special. I didn't know people had a fit over JL as Katniss.

I think it was that that made me change the way i looked at things. JL wasn't what I pictured (not grubby enough, too refined) and said so, yet i knew what she was capable of because of Winters Bone. Was stupid of me! The thread on here was a bitch fest. Nico wasn't keen. Irene declared the whole thing would be ruined because of the casting and that JL was too pretty.

See my issue with the new Batman is not Ben Affleck, it is that Man of Steel was so bad and I would like the first Batman v Superman movie to not suck

What did I say? I don't remember disliking her lol although I vaguely recall a quote about rubbing her face in the dirt and she would be fine Great link and goes to prove that even if you dislike the actors you should ALWAYS get over it and watch the movie. Not only did JL more than win me over but so did Lenny Kravitz as Cinna and I bitched to Steven about him a lot before I saw the movie lol. I HOPE Shailene Woodley as Tris in the Divergent movie won't be as awful as I suspect it will be.

Definitely. Unless like I said above they put some teeny bopper twit like Lautner in Star Wars! I think someone would be killed if that happened though And yes, you did come around and suggest some dirt rubbing for JL I came around reading the book again just before I saw it. Read it with JL in mind and thought, yeah this will work.....

I wasn't keen on the movie in the first place because MoS sucked and I was hoping my faith in this reboot would be restored with the sequel. I thought, "ok, maybe the sequel won't be as bad. There'll be more Clark, they can work on the Clois romance and be less of a alien movie".
But no. They announced a Superman/Batman sequel instead which I think it's a dumbest idea ever! Then this.
So yeah, that's why I'm not watching it. I don't see why you need to bash my opinion for it.

So we've all seen the JCVD Volvo ad I'm sure. I prefer Channing's version from the set of 22 Jump Street

The JCVD one is pretty damn cool I must say. Still not as good as the little Darth Volvo ad. I can watch that over and over and over

I don't like this. 'Cause that means it would be the end of the current Spiderman franchise and I'm one of the few people who loved it.

And I see that it's the 25 year anniversary of Pretty Woman this week (and the cast had a reunion ). It feels like yesterday that my mum sat Tamara and I down before we watched it to tell us this isn't what actually happens if you are a prostitute. Thanks Ma
