I happened to catch that Hart of Dixie the other day on CW with Rachel Bilson, anyone seen it? Nah. Mostly 'cause I don't like Bilson.

It's not bad but I agree that I don't see it lasting long, who knows with the CW though they like to keep things going and going and going .

That's true. They are quite slow in axing shows unlike NBC or FOX so I won't be surprise if this sticks around for a bit.

Well, well. Both Hart of Dixie and The Secret Circle have been picked up for a full season. Ringer as well. Can't say I'm surprised with The Secret Circle. It has a VD & GG vibe going and CW live on shows like that. Other shows that got picked up - New Girl (yay!), Up All Night, Whitney (NBC)and 2 Broke Girls (CBS).

The CW seem to have lower standards when it comes to criteria for renewing seasons They must be moneybags from the success of VD .

I read this just now. In a statement, CW president Mark Pedowitz focused on quality over ratings (none of the shows have emerged as breakout hits for the network).
“We believe in the creative strength of these dramas, and by giving them back nine orders we can give our audience the chance to enjoy complete seasons of all three of them,” said Pedowitz. “With compelling storylines, engaging characters and tremendous buzz, we firmly believe that Hart of Dixie, Ringer and The Secret Circle can become signature series for The CW, the kind of top-notch shows that are synonymous with our brand.” (As opposed to, say, reality dud H8R, which was whacked after only a handful of airings.)Now, I've only seen one ep of TSC and none of HoD so I can't really say whether it's true about them picking the shows up 'cause of quality.

Not surprising, I heard it got terrible reviews and not a lot of viewers.

Did anybody actually watch Charlies angels? I wasn't interested in it so didn't see any of it I wondered if it was as bad as everyone is making out. What was the issue? writing? the leads? combination?

Yeah I've seen a couple of AHS episodes. Nothing too great. I might watch it if I see it on, but I won't set my recorder or anything.

Really? I've been hearing the show is great. As for Charlie's Angels, I've seen a bit of one episode but didn't like it. They are showing it in NZ hot off the satellite. I wonder if Taylor and Kelly will go back to Grey's and Parenthood now.

Is everything on breaks? I miss my raising hope. I decided to drop Ringer, so I am only watching Vampire Diaries & Revenge right now and Parenthood but the last episode was quite boring I hope it picks up .

Yeah. Most shows are on a break before the Nov sweeps.
I know Parenthood, Ringer, New Girl, Glee and I think Raising Hope starts back on the first week of Nov.

Parenthood hasn't been on a break though has it? I have seen a new episode each week for a few weeks now. I didn't even notice Glee wasn't there !

Parenthood is on a break after this week - so no new eps for the next 2 weeks.
Glee has been off for awhile now I think. I can't remember.

Watched the first four eps of Up all Night last night. What a funny show Christina and Will are a very awesome married couple. And Maya is rather amusing. Will definitely keep watching. Got even more enamored with this show when Reagan was in labour and she started singing Lightning Crashes. Brilliant
