Trailer up Looks good. And bonus Chris Hemsworth  Apparently Bradley Whitford too. But as I didn't spot him I assume he's a bad guy. I don't do "torture porn" usually but I'll check this out.

I'm not a fan of those type of torture porn flicks either, but because it's Joss and Goddard, I'll definitely check it out. It looks like it has some elements, too, that aren't usually in those types of movies. But to be honest, even if Joss wasn't behind this, I'd check it out purely for Hemsworth.  Fran Kranz looks like he'll be his Dollhouse character, but that's fine. AND Richard Jenkins is in it, and I love him. So yeah, I'll definitely check this out. EDIT: Yes, I realize I said "check it/this out" three times. |

I don't know if I'll watch this. I want to as it's a Joss movie and I'll know it'll be good but it's a horror movie. I don't do horror movies well. |

Watched this tonight! Was pretty cool, gotta say. The dialogue was very Whedon-esque! It was cool seeing Amy Acker, Fran Kranz, and Tom Lenk again (although FK annoyed me a bit at first -- I got over it pretty quickly). Plus Chris Hemsworth.  And Loz, you're gonna love Whitford in this. It wasn't torture porn-y at all and had a good mix of horror, comedy, and sci-fi. |

Oh man, that's a long time! There were some cool references in it, too. I got a couple Buffy references, but there are also other movie references, too. It really got me in a Buffy mood, too, so I'm re-watching season 1. |

Really not bothered I got to say. Its not the kind of movie i was desperate to see at the cinema (unlike "big" movies like Avengers, Battleship etc where you want the screen and sound) so as soon as I saw the Aus release date I thought I'd probably be Amazon'ing it.

Was great,you could see Joss' handiwork in almost all scenes. Lots of people didn't like it cause they didn't see the gentle ribbing cliches got... plus playing "find the actor from a Jossverse show" was a good time. I don't think my bf's ribs will ever recpver, I elbowed and pointed a lot. Okay this distracted me, off to post about what I came to post about!

It is a 3 hour drive to Sydney from here, I wouldn't do it for a movie.
