I think she was showing goodness, that she was remembering being in Henry's exact position with her own mother. One big thing i love about this show is that evil isn't completely one sided. Both Rumplestitskin and Regina have softer sides in there, they love, they care. I really hope we get Baelfire turn up - I assume he was the man in the start of episode one?

Ha! I hope that happens, too, Nico. And Beck, I did hear rumors Baelfire would turn up this season, so maybe!

So ogres are blind and can only find you through sound. So the best idea is clearly to shoot your gun. I hate Emma. She is a moron

I thought this episode was written perfectly! It showed Emma's naivety at a world she should have (if she hadn't been sent threw worlds) been perfectly comfortable in . She was out of her element and Snow was in hers, great !
I am glad Henry is finally allowed to get involved. Kid deserves it after all this time of being called crazy!.

I really can't agree mate. I don't care how out of your depth you are you listen to basic instructions/rules/advice. Ogres attracted to sound means don't make a sound. They told her that. It's like someone said on TWOP. She gets dumber as her hair gets longer.

I don't like or hate Emma, but the reality of ogres and that sort of creature hasn't really hit her yet. She is used to her gun protecting her and this new world is completely out of her depth. I am just glad to have Snow and Charming back - I hated Mary Margarat and David I really hope to see Regina continue to get more depth and try to redeem herself. And how she goes with Cora being back.

A Rump/Gold episode is usually good so I enjoyed last night. Hook is very interesting indeed. And a bit hot Vaguely Australian Belle has a vaguely Australian father too. Didn't notice that in season 1! No Emma bonus ;D

Yeah I'd say so far this was the best episode of the season. And Hook is totally hot.

Sorry ladies. I don't make many hot guys on tv claims but I am claiming Hook as my own . I agree this episode one one of the best of the season. I saw people saying it was boring!

I can't work out if Hot Hook is bad or not Quite liked this week. Impressive climb up that stalk without breaking a sweat or getting a hair out of place!!

I really enjoyed season 1 so it pains me to say that I am getting jack of this Its a bit disjointed and all over the shop I'm finding. I was seriously clock watching during tonights ep. Likely because i absolutely cannot stand Mulan and i think Aurora is a useless twat. Oh, and Henry got ugly between seasons. Anyone else notice that??

Yes! I was just thinking that that other day that JG lost his season one cuteness. He's like Jamie from OTH - gets less cuter with each season. I'm still watching it though slightly annoyed that Emma and Snow are still stuck in Fairytale land. I'm starting to roll my eyes every time their plans to get back home are foiled. Another complaint is that they are having too many characters involved in the main storyline and it's hard to keep track. I mean, Dr Frankenstein? Seriously?!

Didn't they always introduce new characters though? I would only consider main storyline as the ones we see all the time and Dr Frankenstein isn't in there. His entire story was really weird and unnecessary though I still don't really get it It's time for them to get out of fairytale land. The winter finale is next weekend so they have been there forever! It is frustrating because Mulan is annoying. Poor Henry, he did lose the cute factor

I agree with you guys, except for the new characters. I like it when they keep introducing new characters, and like Nico said, they've always been doing that.
Mulan and Aurora are both annoying, but I do think this last episode was pretty decent. I liked seeing Snow kick ass with her bow and arrows.

I thought of Jamie too Irene! The perfect example of losing the cute I don't have an issue with new characters as such. I just want them to be interesting (like Hook is) and would prefer to not have the desire to stab them on a weekly basis. We don't know anything about Mulan apart from her manic devotion to a character who was on our screen for five minutes. Because of that we simply don't get her motivations, and I think we just don't care all that much. I certainly don't. Aurora we know a little more about but she is a bit dumb and very 'damsel in distress'. Never attractive qualities! While I did enjoy seeing Snow kicking it with her bow and arrows (though GG needs some more practice because her form sucks), I am with Nico, get them the hell out of there already!

That is my problem with Mulan as well. She acts like Aurora is her long lost love, they haven't known each other long and Snow/ Emma's plan was a plan that could have been very successful. Didn't they dislike each other when they first met?

I will admit it. I wanted someone to invite Regina to dinner lol.

Me too mate. Might be a bit soon for them considering all the times she has tried to kill them/curse them i guess. She does seem to be trying though. It's an interesting character arc. Oh man i hope we see LOTS less of Mulan and Princess Annoying now! Emma didn't piss me off as much as she usually does this episode... Though the dumbassness of them all not getting where the ink was gave me the irrits!

Yeah Regina is my favorite. I would have invited her. And Loz, I didn't get the ink was on the parchment right away. I felt a bit stupid after I realized it.
