He just moans and broods too much for my liking, to me it makes him a boring character. If he wants to die so much he should go stand in the sun lol. Other than Armand, Marius would be my favourite I think. And I of course love the Brat Prince, who doesn't?

I always think of Lestat first, and then go... "Who's my favorite character after him?" It's the easiest way of dealing with it. So...AFTER Lestat, Quinn Blackwood is my favorite. I love him. I love everything about him. I've read Blackwood Farm so much...I just adore him. I wish there was more of him.

Hmm while i like Quinn, I wouldnt class him as one of my favourites. I do find it interesting though that he has a son.

Recently she's been writing Christian fiction. I've never read any of it, though.

Yes she's done some other books as well. Her other books are
The Feast of All Saints Cry to Heaven Ramses the Damned (also called The Mummy) Servant of the Bones Violin Christ Our Lord: Out of Egypt (thats the only Christian one she's written, and her newest book)
There is also the Mayfair Witches trilody, The Witching Hour, Lasher and Taltos.
I own all of her books except the new Christian one, and the ones she wrote under another name Ann Rampling I think? And another name, those ones are all Erotica though I think.
I didnt think much of Violin or Cry to Heaven, but the others are really good.

I enjoy all the books in the series, though I'd have to say my favourites are probably "Tales of the Body Thief" and "The Vampire Amand". And as for Louis, I couldn't agree more. I kind of suspect that he inspired Angel somewhat. I haven't read the Mayfair Witches trilogy. Is it worth my time, do you think?

The Vampire Armand is also my favourite one. If you enjoyed those, The Mayfair Trilody is DEFINITELY worth your time. More so as they merge with the Vampire chronicles characters in later books.

Really? I wasn't aware that they were even set in the same "universe". So I'll definitely have to check them out then.

The Talasasca is also in the Mayfair Trilogy, but the other characters were all different, its only in latter books the cross over. And in the Vampire book "Merrick" the character Merrick is a Mayfair.

And to think I failed to make that connection... That said, it has been a long time since I've read it.

Merrick Mayfair is on a different branch of the Mayfair family though, but you'd get more understanding of that reading the books

I've read the first two because I didn't mind the movie Interview with a Vampire, but I didn't find them good enough to read anymore of them. They were alright, but not great.

I'm a sucker for all vampire books and movies (unless they are terrible). The first two aren't imo the best ones, but if you didn't like them you probably wouldn't like the other ones either. I'm still annoyed Anne Rice is now writing Christian books. Booh
