Pro's..
The i dont want to die was a great Moment, and it came at the perfect time. Also great to see buffy die, and Angel saying how he couldnt save her because He has no breath, Leaving it up to Xander.
Cons..
Xander hitting on Buffy, grr, arguebly it had to happen, but that was just....I skip that Scene, it was horrible.

He didn't hit on her though, he just asked her out I thought his practising was sweet, but I hated watching it because its obvious to anyone not Xander that she'd never say yes. Good on Willow for refusing to play second best.

I found it hard to watch, just because Xander was oblivious to the fact that they were "just friends". I really felt for the guy.

I was just glad Xander finally realized that Buffy didn't want to be anything more, so he could finally start to move on.
I agree with Beck. I also loved how Willow had dignity and refused to be second best. That was strong of her, considering how much she liked Xander.

And onto season 2 and When She Was Bad. I love this episode. I like bitch Buffy :dunno: I can understand why she's so screwed up and honestly I think Xander was WAY out of line blaming her for Willow being kidnapped. Buffy may have been acting like a bitch, but she didn't do anything wrong imo not wanting the scoobies going with her to rescue Cordelia. Anyhow, an 8.5/10 from me

I didn't really like the episode that much. I understand bitchy Buffy, too but it still annoyed me. Everyone was blaming everyone else - and good friends don't do that. 6/10 4/50

I liked this episode, but it wasn't my favorite. I understand why Buffy was bitchy and it really showed how the Master affected her, but I didn't like how she treated her friends. They were out of line blaming her, though. It seemed like another episode that showed the gang's weaker side of their friendship.
I'd give it a 8/10.

I thought it was great. Buffy was a bitch in it, but understandably so. The episode really made me pay attention to just how vulnerable a character she is, and how the trauma of her battle with the Master screwed with her head.
9/10 from me.

I don't think Buffy treated her friends that badly. She was a bitch to Cordelia, but she wasn't to her friends was she? She didn't want them coming with her to slay vampires, and thats her call imo, she shouldn't have to take them with her. She didn't know that the vamps would come after Willow and Giles, and that wasn't her fault. She's the slayer, they aren't fighters, she was justified in saying it was her job :dunno:
Any more thoughts? COme on guys, you've all see it.

I liked it. Buffy was acting crazy but she had not yet come to grips with her own death so it makes sense. Im not really sure how doing some kind of mating ritual with Xander on the dance floor is connected to said fallout though. Acting a little bitchy and being touchy i can understand. But purposefully making Angel jealous doesn't seem to fit with that.
The smashing of the bones was a great scene, her friends watching from above and realising what has been going through their friends mind and Angel comforting her was nice.
7.5/10

Moving on then... to Some Assembly Required. Bollocks episode in my opinion. I can't even think of anything I like about this episode

Well "My Girl" creeps me out now. The only thing i really liked about the episode was Cordy and Angel's interaction. After seeing them on "Angel" together it was interesting to see.

I agree with "My Girl", Bre. I actually started chuckling whenever I heard the song after that episode.
As for the Angel/Cordy interaction, it didn't do much for me when I first saw the episode, but when seeing it after having seen season 1 of Angel, it was interesting.
I seem to recall chuckling at some of the lines in the episode, but they were so memorable I've completely forgotten what they are. Not a great one at all.

Yes, i cant really recall any redeeming features for this. Every bad Buffy episode still has humorous parts so that doesn't really count I suppose the "bad guy" who had brought his brother back and was creating this Frankenstein's bride was not someone you could actually hate for doing what he did and that you could actually feel sorry for him. Losing his older brother and all that. Its a theme BtVS does really well, giving the "villain" some redeeming feature. 3/10

But that wasn't as meaningful to me because his friend was a total fruitcake who didn't care at all what they were doing or about taking a life. It was a flaky episode for me.

Yeah, there wasn't much human context, there. Thematically, if they did more to humanise the creepy dude, it could have been quite strong. But otherwise, not so much.

Some people are just plain lunatics though. The crazy guy had to be there to balance out the guy who was having second thoughts and who didn't want to take a life. Still a crap ep though

I remember laughing at some quips at the time it aired. And wasn't there a little Giles/Jenny interaction at the football game? I was interested in that aspect of it. But the parts that would have made it BtVS...I just don't think they pulled off the Frankenstein aspect real well. It's not one I tend to watch.

That's very true, I'd forgotten about thw Giles/Jenny stuff in that episode. They were a great do, regardless of the status of their relationship, and had some great chemistry. So there's a plus for the episode.

Yeh it wasn't fantastic really. It has some funny moments: Buffy falling in the grave, Angel being jelous, Cordelia hanging off Angels arm and the Giles/Jenny moments. Another plus is that Angle looked especially hot!
