The whole point is to tour as the Spice Girls, of course they will be in costume And yes, its been mentioned Geri will definitely have the union jack dress on again

I would have figured they'd go for a similar style, though the old costumes would be amusing. But maybe they should rename themselves "Old Spice"...

I honestly hope they aren't going to use any costumes similar to the old ones. Allan, is an old spice.

Naah, I think they might be passed that. They will probably slip into their persona but the costumes.. nope. I don't think some of them have theirs left. I know at least Geri has auctioned off most of her stage clothers from back in the day. ( INCLUDING the union Jack dress!) I can't really see them putting on those shoes either, especially not Posh or Baby (being pregnant and all) I gotta say, I actually look forward to their release of new music. Whatever people have to say about them, I always enjoyed their music.

No one listens to me :sadwalk:
Guys, they ARE getting in their old costumes, they have already said so. Baby won't be pregnant when they tour.

I love the Spice Girls . They may be old, but some of their songs are just fun and catchy! I don't think anyone can resist Wannabe or Spice Up Your Life . I also remember some pretty old and funny memories when I hear their songs

It's disappointing. While it would take a hell of a lot of convincing to get me to go to a Spice Girls concert, I find it really rude when an act cancels their tour (aside from something major happening to them, obviously - some things can't be avoided). To me, when they have people looking forward to the show, it's showing their fans a distinct lack of respect. I think it's worse with the Spice Girls, because it'll be people's last chance to see them.

My sister claims they were canceled so one of them could work on saving their marriage. I don't think thats a bad decision if its true, why should fans be more important than family? And Allan you are just jealous you aren't a Spice Girl

Maybe. If that's the case, then I agree that it is a good reason. But the article mentions that there was a lack of interest in some of the cities, so the reason could also be financial.

I find it odd that they would cancel the tour because of "family and personal commitments". I mean, isn't family and personal commitments the first thing you consider when you plan a tour?

Generally speaking, yeah. If something came up that wasn't expected for one of them, fair enough, but it's not something you wouldn't think of before you go around the world for a few months.

I don't know if they did wear their old costumes (but I did read that Geri wanted to get the Union Jack dress back), but I do know that Roberto Cavalli designed their costumes for the tour.

Oooh I bet it's Victoria Beckham, then! She just renewed her vows with David Beckham this week. Hmm marriage problems.....as far as i know Geri and Mel B are single moms, Emma is in a happy relationship (unmarried though) and Mel C has never really shown any inclination of hooking up with anybody So i dont know about that. Reports over here suggested major rows within the group.

It might just be that because they extended the tour dates in America and England that they wanted to get home? I dunno, they made a commitment to fans and it's not right to cancel without giving an actual reason. I really doubt they're going to have another tour anytime soon.

But that news have been floating around for awhile hasn't it? Doubt they'll make another tour but who knows. Odder things have happened.
