Ok does anyone listen to My Chemical Romance? I love the band so much! ;D I think their first two albums were the best with Helena and Ghost of You. My favourites on the latest album has got to be Welcome To The Black Parade and Dead! I like all their songs in general but those really stand out for me. I feel like they are becoming more solemn in their songs in a way or is it just me? It's great to see that their style has changed, matured in a way.

Ew ew ew i cant stand My Chem Romance or other bands of this style. They are so morbid and dark in their lyrics. You wonder why their hardcore fans dress all in black and pierce every body part they can while sitting in their rooms thinking the world is out to get them I prefer much more light hearted music lol

That's very stereotypical Glenn as I do not wear black all the time and have only my ears pierced and actually bigger fans than me who have seen them in concerts don't we wear black all the time or have many piercings so really you're totally wrong. Maybe a majourity of the fans, but not ALL. I don't feel that morbid or dark lyrics actually affect fans but maybe the attitude of the band and not the lyrics.

I agree ... very stereotypical. I love MCR and I am far from "goth" or whatever you wanna call it. Anywho ... I love the vocals - they seem very original. I haven't heard anyone else like that. Plus the lyrics are brilliant. I really liked 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge' and 'The Black Parade'. I don't know if they had anymore albums, but those two were really good.

They have another called I Brought You My Bullets You Brought Me Your Love. It's not as good as the other, truth be told. But I don't care, I still love them My Chemical Romance are a unique band though and the vocals and backing are so great, I mean Dead! the beat reminded me of Christmas. LOL but thats just me. I like variety and the videos are really awesome to watch. I actually like to listen to MCR when I vent and not because I feel down or upset. I'll listen to Confessional Dashboard for that

I can see where Dead! reminds you of Christmas lol. Hang 'em High is such a Western song too. I feel like I'm in a Clint Eastwood film or something when I listen to it. - The beginning of the song anyway.

I agree about Hang em High, I feel the same way too. I also had the urge to whistle I love artists that can convey different genres or remind you of cultures/events etc. It's fun to be able relate to music. That's why people love it so much

Ah, I used to absolutely love them, about a year ago. I even have Gerard and Mikey figurines. I'm not sure why I don't like them anymore, probably because I don't hang around with the people who still love them anymore. I dunno. They don't seem to fit my personality anymore, or something. (the band and the people...)

lol Paul!, I think Helena was written fo rthe main singers gran when she passed away?. , there were four lines in that That I always loved, Because I think when someone you love dies, They would miss you just as much as you miss them, and the worse thing you can say is "things are better if I stay", that probably doesnt make sense. but oh well , as for the rest of the song, I dont understand to much "What's the worst that I can say? Things are better if I stay So long and goodnight So long and goodnight "

I don't really like many of My Chemical Romance's songs, and the covers of their CDs freak me out(superficial, but whatever), but I love Helena. That is like one of my all-time favorite songs. Amazing, amazing song. Although I agree with you, Nico, lyrics don't make sense.

I like My Chemical Romance. I have a large variety of tastes when it comes to music, and I like their songs: "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)," "Ghost of You," "Welcome to the Black Parade," and "Helena."

You forgot "Welcome to the Black Parade", Laura. I know you like that song. I also like "Welcome to the Black Parade" and "I'm Not Okay(I Promise)". But "Helena"'s still my favorite.
