Music From U2!,
A singing Spiderman might be a little to much for me to handle, but If I can deal with that to hear some U2!

I really can't picture a singing Spiderman. *thinks* No, I really can't. I just hope it doesn't come across as tacky because a Spiderman swinging between building and singing about how he loves MJ so much just comes across as tacky.

I agree. Hopefully the Lion King's director means that it will be a quality production, along with U2 behind the music. Still, it seems like a long shot..

Spider-Man is coming to Broadway! It's directed by Julie Taymor who was responsible for The Lion King, and will feature music by Bobo and the Edge of U2. An... interesting combination. Could be interesting - or just scary. Bobo huh

I really cant see it working, I mean is there anyway it cant come across as Tacky? Well, Debbie Does Dallas: The Musical wasn't anywhere near as tacky as it should have been, so you never know! I'd be inclinded to agree, except there are some decent credentials behind it. Spider-Man is coming to Broadway! It's directed by Julie Taymor who was responsible for The Lion King, and will feature music by Bobo and the Edge of U2. An... interesting combination. Could be interesting - or just scary. Bobo huh Yeah, Bobo the monkey! Or maybe I'll do a sneaky edit and hope nobody notices.

Sounds dodgy But I thought the Lion King and Tarzan as musicals would be weird too, so :dunno:

Lion King blew me away, so I'm willing to give this a bit more credit for possibly being cool. That said, Lion King already had music for them to use, so...

I've never seen The Lion King on Broadway, but have heard it's fantastic. So by way of the director and music it would seem good, but I agree that a singing Spiderman is a little much. Scratch that, way too much
