From the Wikipedia entry:
"Bad day. Started bad, gets worse" The story is about a Vampire Slayer of the future named Melaka Fray and her discovery of what being a Slayer means.
It has been centuries since the last Slayer was called. Demons were banished from the Earth at some point in the 21st century by an unnamed Slayer and her friends, and the Watchers' Council has descended into a group of crazed fanatics. The vampires however, now dubbed lurks, have returned and haunt the city. In order to combat this threat a new Slayer is called: Melaka Fray. With the Watchers' Council ineffective, a group of "neutral" demons send the demon Urkonn to prepare Melaka Fray for the war that is to surely come."
Fray is an eight-issue comic book miniseries. Began in 2001. In a nod to fans, Joss included Fray's scythe in the final three episodes of Buffy. Melaka Fray also appears in the story "Tales", . by the same creative team as the series, in the anthology comic book Tales of the Slayers.

Yeah I've heard a lot of good things about Fray, and I've always wanted to check them out. I think when I get some money, I'll buy the first issue.

Yer i got it when it came out in a whole graphic novel it was really good. The whole new slayer thing was great and Fray had a really good well i say good it was more reluctant attitude kinda like what Buffy had but Fray was more urban.
I would love to see a second season of the comic to come out. Dose anyone know if they could be or is going to be?

If it happens, I wouldn't expect it to happen for a while.
Joss has said that he deliberately left it open for a sequel, but hasn't done anything about it (except for a short story in "Tales of the Slayers").
Personally, I would love to see him adapt it for the big screen. I reread it a few weeks ago, and it really hit me just what a great movie it would make.

Would the producers trust him after Buffy the movie and then Serenity? I don't think the Buffy movie plays into it anymore? It's basically accepted that after he wrote the script, he lost all control. As for whether they trust him after Serenity, that's a different story. The movie performed under expectations, but it wasn't publicised that well. That said, I think a lot of it will hae to do with his future movies. If they perform well (ie turn a decent profit compared to their budgets), they may trust him enough to tackle it.
