I read this fairly recently, but I was very disappointed with the ending. I also didn't like Chiyo/Sayuri's character very much. I was wondering if anyone else has read this, and what your thoughts are.

I didn't like how Sayuri ended up with the Chairman. I mean, I suppose that was supposed to be a happy ending, but it wasn't happy for Nobu. She was causing the same pain to Nobu as the Chairman was causing her, and I didn't like that at all. Plus, the Chairman was like 40 years older than her and already married!
So what are your thoughts?
