What are some of your favourite quotes from books that you've read?
One of mine is from A Great and Terrible Beauty:

From the Fellowship of the Ring -
"All that is gold does not glitter; not all those that wander are lost"
Of Mice and Men -
"An' why? Because...because I got you to look after me, and you got me to look after you, and that's why."
"A guy needs somebody-to be near him. A guy goes nuts if he ain't got nobody."
The Outsiders -
"Greasers will still be greasers and Socs will still be Socs. Sometimes I think it’s the ones in the middle that are really the lucky."
And from The Alchemist -
"It's the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting."
"People are afraid to pursue their most important dreams, because they feel that they don't deserve them, or that they'll be unable to achieve them."
Actually the whole book I would copy & paste in here, but I won't lol I love a lot from Dumbledore in Harry potter too.

Just a few quotes I can remember: Romeo and Juliet: "For never was a story of more woe, than this of Juliet and her Romeo."The Outsiders: "Someone should tell their side of the story, and maybe people would understand then and wouldn't be so quick to judge a boy by the amount of hair oil he wore."This quote says a lot about judgment, and that's why I love it. Flowers for Algernon"Why am I always looking at life through a window?"I know there are many more, but I can't remember any now .

It's from "Rebel Angels." Suddenly, I am not at all sure of what I am doing, of whether I have done the right thing by letting him go. There is something so very safe and comforting about Simon. But it's a bit like the false-bottomed box, that feeling. I know only that something in me sense I might eventually fall through the bottom of his bright affection and find myself trapped there.
