It's ok. Did anyone read that article on Winchester Fan? So cool! Spoilers because what Kripke said, I could be slapped for spoiling innocent unspoiled eyes.... Well anyway in Episode 21 the Winchesters confront with the Yellow Eyed Demon in a way they haven't before which is very intriguing! How? Last time John was possessed so what now? Sam will get answers! The storyline will be wrapped up in the season finale.... I was worried that the 4 year plan will end up turning SN into Lost.... And the story is larger than the YED! I wish I knew how but Kripke is keeping it under wraps.... he also mentions numerology being used intentionally like Sam being 22 after the YED returns after 22 years after Mary dying. Oh and Alissa there is said to be a major storyline beginning for Dean in the season finale. I can't wait! Could Dean somehow have some dark secrets in his past? In Season 1 Mary made him bleed a lot... Pure spoiler I discovered weeks back is that Sam finally hooks up with someone and is described as having ''crazy hot sex''. I wonder if his companion will be guest starring ina few episodes, I don't see Sam as the spontaneous lover. Being on the road makes him broody and hard to open up... The hiatus sucks.... but I can't wait to see the next episode. Looks creepy...

Okay, this is a spoiler for episode 39- Heart: This episode was really sad, and I can't believe Sam had to kill that girl himself. Dean was even crying. When Dean cries, you know it's really sad. I just hope this doesn't send Sam over the edge

I try. I miss them on occasion since thursday is my only night off, and I sometimes use it to go to broadway. But I just finished watching this weeks episode and I'm in physical pain over it. I'm going to go ahead and say it. Best episode ever.

Okay, I saw it! Spoilers for episode "What Is and What Never Should Be": I was actually kind of disappointed with this episode, though I don't exactly know why.
However, it was incredibly sad, and I loved seeing that side of Dean! The end was a little unsatisfying, but they may have purposely done that. Also, was Dean an alcoholic in his mind/alternate reality?

I don't think we need spoiler tags anymore since the next episode airs tonight. So, anyone reading this, if you haven't seen it, you're warned.
I can't believe you were disappointed! In my opinion, this was the best episode of the show thus far. It was like Normal Again on CRACK. The ending was beautiful to me for several reasons. The first was that Dean really was able to dig himself out and, like Sam said, not everybody would have been able to do that. And there is this undercurrent to the conversation that makes me think Sam was imagining it himself, and knowing he would have stayed. Personal opinion. And then, when he tells Dean that he did the right thing. That they save lives and it's worth it. And you see Dean's eyes, and he is so clearly saying, "Is it?" God it broke my heart. Dean didn't ask for this life anymore than Sam did. He fought because his Dad fought. And now he fights because Sammy fights. And everyone just assumes he does it for himself, but how many times has he tried to talk Sammy into running? God it just hurt to see him so happy and then have it yanked away.
I don't think Dean was an alcoholic in his alternate reality. He drinks a lot in the regular one, to begin with. And he only has a few drinks while over there. He has one after mowing the lawn, and I see nothing wrong with that. A lot of guys like to have a beer after they do some manual labor. Hell, I sometimes like to have a beer after lawn work. It's just...comfortable, you know? And he has one in the evening that his girl brings him. Don't see anything wrong with that either. Add to the fact that he's in a situation that kind of makes his head spin more than a little, and I think it's all pretty self explanitory.
I don't get why everyone keeps calling him an alcoholic. Hell, if we're going to call him an alcoholic, we might as well go for it and point out that we see him drinking in almost every single episode. But the point I think is important is that we never see him drink to real excess. Sam is the only one we've seen keeled over a toilet after all.

Very good points, Skitty . I did love how the ending showed a lot about Dean's character, but I don't know the episode just left me a little unsatisfied . It really did make me think, though, so perhaps that was also its intention. I loved how Dean let go of the reality too. It showed that he has incredible willpower. I only thought he was an alcoholic because everyone kept asking him if he had been drinking when he was acting weird, not because he had a few drinks . Also, in the alternate reality, Sam and Dean weren't as close and they had pretty much nothing in common. Does that mean hunting is the only thing they really have in common (in reality)?

No, they have tons in common. But they have it on common because of how they were raised. Sam depends on Dean because of their youth. They share common interests in what they do, how they feel, where they're going. They are very different people but because they were raised to be together, basically...they have everything in common, if you see what I mean. In the other reality, they are completely different people because they didn't have that upbringing. But you'll notice Sam does still come with him, for no other reason than that Dean's his brother.
Also...Hell, I'd have asked Dean if he'd been drinking the way he was acting. He wasn't exactly on the level most of the episode, you know?

Yeah, that's true. However, I didn't think the reality was so perfect, since they weren't as close. That's also true. However, no one seemed surprised on the way he acted, they just simply asked if he had been drinking. Did you see the new episode-- "All Hell Breaks Lose Part 1" It was the BEST.

I did. I cried a lot. I know Sam can't really be dead. I mean, it would be suicide for the show to kill him. I'm just so worried about what Dean is going to do to get him back. I'm really afraid that he's going to give himself up for like...X number of years as a happy family, ya know? I mean, he's been made that offer once before. I'm sure it's looking pretty good right about now.

RE Skitty: I know Sam can't be dead either. Something has to get him back! I also hope Dean doesn't do anything stupid, but I don't think they would do another deal type thing, since that's already been done for Dean's life! I also can't believe Ava was evil

I kinda new the whole thing was going to go down because I read a spoiler. But I've remained unspoiled for the final episode, thank god. I get to watch it at home, when it actually airs for a change. That's going to be exciting.

Just watched the season 2 final. What an amazing end to season 2! It was so good to see their Dad back for that little time, very touching. Amazing final moments and I can't wait to see how season 3 unfolds.
