That ep was weird. Predicted the pregnancy but didn't think they'll rush it like they did. I think Ellen Pompeo and Caterina Scorsone saved the ep for me. Their scenes were great - especially Amelia's breakdown at the end. Seriously, that woman needs more recognition with her acting! And I agree, those flashbacks made me realise how great this show once was.  I will still watch it out of habit though.  |

Agreed! CS is an extremely good actress and deserves more credit. She has done some bloody good stuff over the years on both shows. Yeah, its not worth stopping now is it. Not after eleven seasons |

Great episode. Ellen Pompeo is seriously underrated as an actress. Never been a massive fan of her generally, but she can turn it on as good an anyone on TV, and has been doing it for a long time. Outstanding direction as well IMO. You know what, I think that Denzel Washington might have a future in the business!  Also, Karev breaks me. I  him. |

Their platonic relationship is so refreshing. * Looking forward to the Japril flashback ep next week, mostly just because he's so hot * I really liked the therapist character. He can come back. |

Penny really sucks doesn't she. I hate her insipid face. And the character just blows.
I like Riggs!! But that's because I've liked Martin Henderson for 20 years (Sweat was a great show!!). Plus he was one of my beloved Heath's best mates.

Apparently Samantha Sloyan (Penny) was in Scandal for three seasons (I guess as a very minor character). Can't remember her at all. Her face is as bland as her acting.
I like deLuca. He's a nice addition.

She was part of the White House staff (with shorter hair). I only remember because season 2 is on and I saw her on it. Never knew she was on it before that. Shouldn't be surprise though. Shonda loves to recycles her actors. I don' want a whiff of a Mer/Alex relationship. Sorry but I love them as friends and they should remain that way. Jo can die in the next disaster. |
