The show is based on the popular book series of the same name. This drama series gives viewers a peek into the world of privileged teenagers on an elite private school in New York City. The first ep aired last week. I caught the pilot and I liked it a lot. I never gotten the chance to read the books (though I've been meaning to for quite some time now) so I didn't know what to expect from the show. I came into the show expecting a bubbly, high school show (much like Clueless). But I was surprise that it wasn't the case at all. The first ep gave me a good first impression of the show and I'll definitely be following the series.  Anyone else watching this show? Love it? Hate it? |

I really enjoyed first episode. I'll continue watching. I've read most of the books, and really like them.

I know it's early to tell but does the show do justice to the books? I heard fans complaining that they didn't get most of the characters right. What do you think?

Hmm...it's obviously not exact, heaps was changed but Blair and Serena are good, which is what counts. The first episode is pretty much what happens in the first book.

I'm watching it, and I love it. I was hooked after one episode  . I've never read the books, or heard of them for that matter. I just saw a preview on T.V. and thought it looked good. I was right ;D. |

It's by the guy who did the O.C but it's really different, it's it. I miss (season 1) OC....

Ahh this show is really good. It's been picked up for a full 22 episodes, yay! Loved Chuck's line: "Because I'm Chuck Bass". Blair is such a bitch. I can't believe she did that...

One thing I realised after watching 3 episodes is that the lead (Blake Lively) can't act. And I  Dan! ;D |

LOL do you think? She's in Sisterhood (which I love) so maybe I've overlooked how bad she is.
Blair, Serena, Chuck and Nate are just like they are in the book. Dan is sooo different!

Pretty different! Penn Badgley is hot though.

Anyone still watch this?? I do This season (4) has been really good so far. I can't believe it but i really like this Dan and Blair thing that is going on. I think she will end up back with Chuck, but its damn fun to watch her with "Lonely Boy". Though its pretty much always fun watching Blair in action. The Serena thing is really  Every guy on the planet wants her I get that BL is fairly smoking, but Serena is an annoying dumbass! She has great taste in shoes though..... |

The other night I had a pretty bad headache and wanted to watch something that wouldn't make me think too hard and had pretty people in it, so I started watching this. Now I'm at like the 7th or 8th episode. I wants all the pretty dresses! Is this still airing new episodes? |

The 100th ep just aired and the Gossip Girl was revealed. I think. Going by what I've read anyway. And no, I'm not watching this. I just read a lot of spoilers. |

The 100th was Blair's wedding. But it wasn't the real Gossip Girl at all. Everyone who watches the show knew it the second the camera pulled back. Was pretty stupid.

Well, after six years it's all over. And apparently Dan is Gossip Girl! This does not work or make any sense at all if you think about it, but I doubt anyone really cares I will miss the clothes and the shoes and New York in its glory  |
