what movies fall into the "they are so lame and badly made" that they are thoroughly enjoyable? I put the original TMNT in that catagory as well as the He Man movie, they're just so lame and bad that they are brilliant movies

I can't comment on that He-Man one since I haven't seen it in ages. Agree about TMNT though. Plan 9 from Outer Space is probably the biggest movie of the category, known as the worst movie ever made. But more recently, I'll have to mention Josie & the Pussycats.

Does Scooby Doo count? I love the first one! I'm sure there's more but this is all I can think of at the moment.

Scooby doo definitely falls into that catagory I don't think Josie and the Pussycats does... I just disliked it

I loved the stupid sense of humour Josie & the Pussycats had. It just makes me laugh every time I see it (though Archie Comics were angry over how "adult" the humour was). I agree with Scooby-Doo - all the Scrappy stuff was great.

I mentioned this in one of the Slytherin games, and I found it today - Churchill: The Hollywood Years. Basically, it's a British film starring Christian Slater and Neve Campbell, but made as if it was a big budget (but it was made cheaply) American action movie about Winston Churchill. There are some terrible jokes, but I can't help but laugh.
Queen Elizabeth to Churchill: "I don't want to be the Queen... I want to be American, just like you!"

ROFL That sounds classic. I want to see it.
I'm not sure if BASEketball fits into this category...it's a pretty bad movie but it's absolutely hilarious.

It's great - basically Churchill is really an American GI named Bubba. I think BASEketball also fits.

Beck mentioning that she hasn't seen American Psycho made me think of another one - American Psycho II: Evil Never Dies, about a young female psycho killing people. It only has a very tenuous link to the original, was direct to DVD, and stars Mila Kunis from That 70's Show as the psycho. Dodgy, but oh so amusing.

I agree, Bec! The one thing in that movie that made me laugh for about 5 minutes was when one of the guys saw an ostrich and said "Dude, it's a llama!" It's so stupid but so funny!
