I've been told that my invisibility can be rather annoying, so I wondered if it bothered many of you? I stay invisible mostly so I can browse without being thought to be rude for sudden disappearances. And I must say I do find it a little annoying on other forums if I don't know if someone is on or not (not on here as I can see invisible users anyway). So what does everyone think? Is the invisibility feature annoying?

I don't think it's annoying but I find it confusing. If I'm chatting with someone who is on invisibility, I have no idea whether that person is online to reply to my post. I'll be waiting around, wondering whether I'll get a reply or not. I guess that can be annoying - the wondering, not the invisibility. I'm on invisibility at the moment as recently I've been popping in and out of KAX and I don't want to seem that I'm ignoring people by not replying to their posts in Chatters.

I usually dont stick around long if there are only invisible people on, especially in chatters, I dont find it annoying but it definetly lessens the time I spend on Kax, if I dont know who is actually online, I dont see the point of hanging around after I have posted in various sections.

Once I'm done replying to whatever posts I want to around the forum and I want to chat, if no one's on, or they're invisible, then I won't stick around. I don't know who, if anyone, is actually on for me to talk to, and if someone were to be on invisible and talking to me and suddenly disappear without warning, then I'm left waiting around for an answer because I don't know if they've signed out or not. And that just wastes time.

It doesn't bother me, but I can see it getting in the way of Chatters. If I'm posting in there with someone (I won't say "chatting" since I'm not on during peak times thanks to work and Chatters being generally quiet lately), if I'm expecting a response and don't get one, I'll check to see if that person's still online - if they're not on the list and I don't have any more posting to do, I'll move on. But I know you like to stay omnipotent invisible, Beck, so I know not to look for you on there. As far as I know, you're the only regular invisible person, and if that's the case, it's a non-issue. Same for anyone else I knew who likes to hide.

Mmm... ok I am now visible. But if I do disappear during the day without replying to something its cause I'm busy and on and off

I don't really see why it's that big an issue. You are admin so you have things you need to deal with while your on here.

Did you read why its an issue for most people? It hasn't got anything to do with admin duties
