i dont think your really limiting your options, not much was shown about ripper cept for the mark of eygon ep. so i think they could do whatever they wanted as long as it ended up with giles joining the watchers, it would at least make a great comic

Have opinions changed? Would you watch a Spin Off if it were made of any character in any of Joss' shows if it were done now? What would you want to see or would you not want to see any?

Though I wouldn't mind a Simon and River spinoff.

Yah I would still like to see either a Firefly spinoff (any though preferably Mal and Zoe in the Browncoats days) or a Ripper one still. I don't think I'd watch any others now.

Ohh pssh you would watch them! You may not like the idea of it, but I know curiosity would get the best of you. I would still watch anything Joss did, but I agree, I'd rather see a Firefly based one than a Buffyverse one.

I don't know, it would depend how it was marketed I wouldn't want to see a potentials spin off for instance, or a recasting of Angel or Spike.

Even if Joss was writing it? He's a good writer, so I would watch any of his stuff, whether it be Buffyverse or not.

I would watch whatever spinoff that is produced just to see how it's done. Whether I like it or not depends on the show itself really (and probably who is behind it).

I don't know why but after watching Dollhouse, I'm put off by the idea of a Faith spinoff.

If Joss was writing and directing it I would be obliged to check it out. I too don't want to see a Faith spinoff anymore, but that is more because I think her character came full circle already. What would the spin off be about?

Probably about what happens to her after season 7. She might not have stuck with the rest of the gang so she and Wood would go their own way and start their own adventures.

True. But that's probably the only point in her life where they can do a spinoff in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind a spinoff with a new character (like a new slayer) with some of the 'minor' characters from Buffy or Angel in it (i.e. Asta )

Yah I never got into Dollhouse but seeing some sort of firefly spinoff would be nice. Something about River or Mal before Firefly began? Or maybe something set after Serenity.

Buffy and Angel finished their stories, I'd only be interested in a Firefly spin off. I'm not sure how a Dollhouse spin off would work, it would just be much of the same in a new setting with some new characters. I don't think there is enough for a new set of storylines with it.
